Come here for lunch with a mate to try out their burgers and while the burger was good cooked well With the decent amount of flavour. I will say it was quite messy to eat needed several napkins for my face to stay clean throughout the process halfway through I switch to a knife and fork and just separated the elements. Chips were hot and good waiter was maybe a little green but very friendly and professional. Not sure I’d say it was SA’s greatest burger as they had a banner out the front that did say that but it was pretty good.

Called in to grab a quick bite during Illuminate Adelaide. Managed to get a table quick enough. Good menu. Not huge but good selection. Went the spaghetti bolognese. Came with a couple of small garlic breads. It was huge. Cooked perfect. Loved it. The others had steak that was also good. Tad over done but nice. Bravo GH

Meal sizes were huge, tasty and good value for money. Burger was so big I had to eat with a knife and fork 😅 beef patty was kind of cheap tasing, like one from a fish & chip shop but for the price of the meal and the quantity I can overlook it. Garlic bread was 10/10 delicious and I loved how generous they were with the sauces.

Great old pub im awesome location just up from Rundle Mall. Delicious food with generous portion sizes. My friends and I went on the 2 for 1 schnitzel night. I had the beef schnitzel which had a decent sized cut of steak inside. Best part of the night was the fantastic customer service we received. The 2 ladies working in the restaurant were an absolute delight and were always smiling.

I have dined at The Griffin's multiple times for team lunches, and I have always walked away feeling underwhelmed with their food. Recently, I have found their prices to be on the higher side compared to other pubs and taste just mediocre. A large group of us had lunch there recently. A colleague ordered Crispy Skinned Barramundi with shellfish in a saffron nduja broth, cannellini bean and fennel. While the fish was cooked well, it could have used some bread or carbs to mop up the sauce/broth, making it more filling, especially considering the cost. I ordered the Taco Bowl, which tasted alright. Another colleague ordered the Chargrilled SA King Prawns with papaya, tamarind, chilli, grilled pineapple, and crispy fish. As soon as the dish arrived, it had a strong, unpleasant smell. The prawns were really off-putting. We have eaten a lot of prawns elsewhere and knew something was not right. She even tried to eat it but couldn't without feeling nauseous. She raised the issue with the staff, who informed her that they receive fresh produce daily and it shouldn't smell. They did offer her another dish, which was good of them.

Really nice food. Good wine list with some differences. What got me was really really good helpful service. Grandson of mine has very specific needs and Indra and the kitchen could not have been more helpful. Big shout out and thank you

I recently visited Ginffins Hotel and had a generally good experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was solid, and I was particularly pleased with the price of the beer—very reasonable compared to other places. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink.

However, I was shocked when I ordered a simple glass of juice for my kids and was charged $7. That’s an outrageous price for something so basic, especially when compared to the fair pricing of other drinks. It left a bad taste in my mouth and made the visit feel a bit overpriced for families.

Overall, it’s a decent venue with good service and beer prices, but I’d think twice about ordering non-alcoholic drinks for the kids unless they adjust their pricing.

Not impressed tbh, only reason we came here was because of their "kids eat free during illuminate adelaide" advertisement. Only to be told you have to have tickets to an event rather than the free activities on North tce. And that you have to tell them before ordering that you're going to illuminate 🙄🙄 double checked all their advertisements for this and couldn't see anything about these "terms and conditions". Staff was rude.
Also we ordered medium rare steaks that came out raw, chewy and so tough.
Will be sticking to our local from now on.
