The food is always good at the Christies Beach Hotel. The service is friendly and fast and prices are good. I was disappointed though that you have changed your normal wedges from nice sized chunky pieces to very small pieces that were all the same size. We often went for a quick wedges lunch because they were so nice but won't be so keen to do that if you continue with the new size wedges.

Recently went to celebrate my birthday and had the best experience. Was treated so well by all staff, food was amazing and came out quickly. Brought in our own cake and they supplied all the cutlery and plates for us to eat plus even lit the candles. The space was amazing with a great playground and even a cinema which my daughter loved. Can’t wait for summer to come back as our regular spot.

Rang for a booking on Saturday night. Very efficient lady fitted us in for 4. Orderly efficient service and delivery of food. Our visiting guests really enjoyed the Garlic Prawns, my beef schnitzel was perfect and my wife's slow cooked lamb was perfectly delicious as usual. Very busy with family groups is great to see. Visited again on a Sunday night, same beautiful food and attentive service. We will continue to return and highly recommend the venue.

Whoever cooked the steak on Easter Sunday, wow, perfect, been a while since we've trusted the menu. But how good. Loved it, didn't want it end very surprised. Had such a good meal for lunch and stayed way longer than expected. Great vibe. Thanks for a great day,

Sunday evening I went to a birthday dinner. The place looks amazing, the staff were lovely and I loved the kids benefits. However, the food was one of the worst pub meals I’ve had! I thought I couldn’t go wrong with a Chicken schnitzel but I was sadly mistaken. The crumb on it was thick and bland. It’d come off the meat when cutting into it. I got half way and saw the chicken was pink too. I couldn’t finish it. There was also a lack of chips.
My partner had the Philly cheese steak and again disappointed by the appearance and quality of ingredients. The cheese was clearly the ones that come individually wrapped in plastic. It was barely melted on top over the tiny hotdog roll. Again with this meal, there was a lack of chips.
My mum got the Seafood basket and all her seafood crumb was dark brown from being over fried. The 10 people on our table all reached for the salt.
The food was POOR quality especially for the price. It’s a shame because the venue and atmosphere is great.
Also it was 6pm and you ran out of apple juice for the children, there weren’t many non-fizzy options.

I’d perhaps go back and have a drink here again but I WOULDN’T eat. I couldn’t. I don’t recommend the food.

We were booked in for dinner 6.15pm. We ordered our melas by 6.30pm. With in 5 minutes the garlic bread arrived. Great service then entree arrived a few minutes later. Before we could start the soup our main meals arrived. The waitress apologised and left the main courses in the middle of the table. I had the spaghetti with lamb ragu and it was disgusting. The pasta was like mush and the sauce was thin and watery. Price vs quality leaves a lot of room for improvement.

Had not been down that way for a couple of years . Imagine my surprise when I went to go in the car park and it was now apartments . The hotel had been completely renovated and it was just lovely . The meals were amazing , the staff were very friendly and accomodating, it was all a pleasant afternoon. We had a large group , around 30 and the meals all came out in good time . Well done . Bistro room was clean, fresh and inviting, with beautiful decor, comfortable chairs and lovely sea views. Excellent friendly staff, with genuine happy service. Meals were very good but my partners porterhouse steak was a bit grisly considering the price. Overall, we will be dining at your lovely establishment again.
