I was completely happy with everything. The team was very friendly, attentive, professional, and fun. They catered to all our needs and made sure we had a perfect day. The boat was cozy and there were the perfect amount of people to keep it relaxed. The food and drinks were great, and the reef experience with snorkelling and scuba diving was incredible.

Reef Daytripper helped us to experience the beautiful Great Barrier Reef as it should be. A small boat which takes just 15 guests, but with plenty of space for everyone. Took us to excellent spots on the reef for snorkelling. Excellent personalised service by the crew, especially Luke, who took great care in providing for the special needs of one of our group members. Snorkelling equipment and wetsuits were all good quality and newish. Lunch was great. Excellent experience!!!

What an awesome way to spend a day! The team was prepared, knowledgeable and so much fun! All equipment (snorkel and diving) was well maintained and provided. And some easy breakfast snacks and lunch meals were provided throughout the day too....there was even champagne provided on the way back into Cairns to end off a wonderful day. I highly recommend the Reef Daytripper team. The group size is small and easier to access the reefs, joining in on a guided snorkel tour is enjoyable and you see so much reef life. And when you're tired you can just head back to the boat and rest catamaran style!! I also recommend the team themselves as they are professional but easygoing! I'll definitely be back! The experience was wonderful!

The Reef Daytripper was an unreal experience! From the boat to the crew everything was professional yet fun and enjoyable! Special mention to Mikaela who skippered the boat and was full of knowledge about the reef and made us all feel safe! Also Tomas who guided me one on one for my first scuba dive, so professional and constantly checking in! An amazing and unforgettable experience if you want to experience the reef without the crowds and enjoy something a little more intimate!

We had an amazing snorkeling trip with Reef Daytripper. We had a great crew and a nice catamaran style sailboat\motorboat whih was in excellent condition. The crew was friendly, went over all of the safety procedures, use of equipment and what we would be seeing. Food was supplied on this trip that included and excellent lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the trip. Snorkeling was AMAZING out on the Great Barrier Reef! The spots that we went to were beautiful! The crew spent time talking with everyone and getting to know everyone. I would go with them again if I eve make it out to Australia again and Cairns.

Had an amazing Great Barrier Reef tour with these guys. All staff super fun and friendly. Great meal also. The snorkelling in the reef is amazing. Lovely small intimate group tour. And you just jump off the back of the boat. Also offers scuba diving but we just did snorkelling. Highly recommended if you are after a small group intimate trip to the reef.

Definitely an experience that I would recommend without thinking about it. A crew of 10 in every way, very friendly and make you want to come back on board the next day. If you are looking for a quieter and less crowded experience this is the place for you. The rest of the fleets that leave from Cairns are the typical crowded boat where you don't have a minute to enjoy the great barrier reef by yourself, nothing to do with this boat. It only remains for me to thank each and every one of the crew for this day.

Don't do an introductory dive through them period, their behavior felt as if they were doing you an favor to you. The instructors get agitated and act rude if you goof up or misunderstand an instruction. This spoiling your experience, especially since we are on holiday. The staff almost shouts at you if you make a minor error like try wearing your slippers out of muscle memory, or ask for a confirmation if your food is indeed vegetarian.

Hope the instructors get more friendly and realise they aren't an authority, but are there to support people get an enjoyable experience, which was paid for. We aren't here to cater to their rude remarks or indifferent attitude.

In the end, we couldn't go for the dive, beyond the initial training, because we were not comfortable and confident with the crew. And of course no second attempt or refund was offered.

I had dived earlier through PADI in Andamans, about a year ago. The staff was way more patient and friensly there and allowed us time to catch up. The staff at Reef DayTripper needs to realize that diving is not as simple as a walk in the park for an inexperienced person.

Go with them only if you have already have experience of snorkeling or are a certified instructor.

The boat itself and the planning of the day was good, we were able to enjoy this. The lunch was decent too.
