Loved everything about this club; we joined. The coffee, excellent! Other drinks, excellent! Breakfast, lunch and cakes all excellent. We had breakfast/brunch 3 days, dinner, salads, slices etc., all very good. Staff and service, very good to exceptional.

The exception was the catered sit down 3 course dinner at our event.

It was expensive but ordinary; bruschetta was soggy, main meals were either overcooked and too hard to eat (not sure even a steak knofe would have helped) and / or cold (fish) which my friend did not eat. Service was odd, clearing plates first, from last tables served, peculiar at best.
Prawn entree seemed well liked. Dietary needs were not accomodated as 'booked'.

Both desserts seemed well received, mine was lovely. Decor appropriate and very good, suitable for occasion.

We know you were capable of so much better as we enjoyed everything else you provided for a full 5 days.

Nice open, airy and clean space

Meal was 'adequate'

The lamb cutlets were tender and cooked 'ok', just a little over but not bad

But they were flavourless - lacked a tasty marinading or good pre-serve seasoning

Pizza was 'okay'

The cheffing is average, and I wouldn't visit to eat here again - not because it was bad, but because it wasn't especially good and therefore not a sufficient value proposition

Needs a bit more passion and up-skilling in the kitchen

Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had in my life! So deliciously tender it really did melt in your mouth! We loved the atmosphere also and all the staff were amazing. Will definitely make a return visit on our next visit to Cairns!

Nice place to relax and gamble away. The food is good and the service staff are friendly. I like the new layout compared to a couple of years ago. When I get back from Brisbane I hope to have some relaxing time in the tab room.

If you are looking for a betting shop that sells food and beer this is the place. Has been refurbished since I last frequented.

What happened to the family friendly places you could take your kids. Have a dance, bingo in the intermission.

I can't knock the staff, very friendly & efficient, what we ordered arrived quickly and was very nice.

Please also note I attended on a Friday around noon, might be different in the evening.

Ordered 4 meals last night and not one was good. The calamari looked like nuggets, carbonara was thick cluggy and tasted awful. Fish and chips were disgusting and the steak was asked to be well done but some parts were rare. Mentioned to waitress the meals were not good and not one person come to see us. Will never be back

We’re visiting Cairns from out of state and went to Brothers Leagues Club for dinner. the fisherman’s basket was tasteless, cheap rubbish. Consisted of a piece of fish and a few battered seafood items you’d get out of a box in your supermarket freezer aisle, a dry miserable salad and the crispy chicken wrap was also flavourless. No pride in what they put out here. Wasted 30 mins signing up for a membership upon arrival for a place we will never revisit.
