We just celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary over the weekend, and we couldn't have chosen a more spectacular place! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of this idyllic estate. The suite we stayed in was exactly as we had imagined; the in-room facilities, especially the fireplace and the comfortable bed, exceeded our expectations. The staff were all so lovely too. ||Every little detail contributed to the experience: the fresh bakery breakfast, the essential oil burners, and the fluffy white robes were all five-star quality! We particularly loved the fire pit—it was a wonderfully relaxing way to spend the evening with a glass of wine. Already dreaming about the next time we stay! ||Thank you for creating such a special place.

What an incredible spot! We stayed for our two night babymoon and can’t wait to come back. Tara was so helpful, friendly and welcoming when we arrived and throughout our stay. The venue is gorgeous - rooms are so beautiful, warm and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and private with loads of lovely spots to sit and enjoy the view. Judy and Laurie have done a fabulous job with attention to detail and we loved having drinks, pizzas and nibbles all available to purchase on site. The hot tub was a real treat, as was the massage as part of our weekend away! Sandra was fantastic. The fact there are only 8 rooms makes it feel like you have the place to yourself.

We recently stayed at Verandah House Country Estate to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, it was the most incredible experience. The Estate offers six-star accommodation, amenities, and service. Judy, Lawrence, and their exceptional team made us feel truly welcome and special. We also enjoyed a beautifully relaxing massage in the tranquil day spa — an absolute highlight. Our suites were not only luxuriously comfortable but also styled to the highest standard. The cosy wood fireplace added an extra touch of magic. It truly is a remarkable experience — one I can’t wait to enjoy again. We will most definitely be returning guests.

Wow what a magical night away. Don’t even know where to start.

The most breathtaking views, cutest rooms with beautiful decor and such a great size.
The grounds were stunning, so much space to enjoy from the pool area, to the barn with plenty of indoor activities, a choice of 2 saunas and also 2 spa’s.
So many cute spots to sit and breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the scenic view or by the fire pit to sit and enjoy the sunset no matter where you want you could enjoy the views and stillness or the sounds of wildlife.

The sweetest addition in the morning with a breakfast box delivered to your door step.

Laurence and Judy are the beautiful owners were so kind and helpful booking us a reservation for dinner. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Cannot wait to go back.

We recently stayed 2 nights at Veranda House Country Estate for my birthday. Absolutely loved it & highly recommend it as a truly spectacular place to stay & celebrate a special occasion. The room was beautiful, outside area lovely with breathtaking view. Really yummy continental breakfast treats delivered each morning outside the door in a cute, little retro esky. Self serve kitchen with lots of delicious prepared meals like pizzas, roast veggies, potato bakes plus wine, bubbles etc is a great option. I also had the most beautiful facial & massage at the Spa onsite. All staff & resident puppy were so friendly & lovely. Have told all my friends about this gorgeous venue & we’ll be back for sure.

A Soulful Escape at Verandah House

Our recent stay at Verandah House was nothing short of restorative—a truly grounding experience that provided the space and stillness we needed to relax, rejuvenate, and reset. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was more than just a place to stay—it was an invitation to reconnect with nature, comfort, and self.

Our room was impeccable—designed with an eye for earthy elegance and thoughtful detail. Every element, from the natural textures to the sophisticated decor, worked in harmony to create a serene and welcoming space. The fireplace offered a warm, cozy touch on cool evenings, while the freestanding bathtub with expansive mountain views felt like something out of a dream. The bed, soft and cloud-like, gave me one of the deepest, most uninterrupted sleeps I can recall in years.

The food offerings were another highlight. The guest kitchen was intuitively set up and easy to navigate, with everything we needed readily available. The coffee was genuinely great—rich and well-balanced. In the evening, soaking in the onsen hot tub beneath a sky full of stars, followed by the deeply relaxing alpine sauna, was nothing short of magical.

Morning brought with it another delight: a beautifully curated breakfast box, filled with local, organic, and nourishing selections. The mix of savoury and sweet treats reflected care and craftsmanship, setting a beautiful tone for the day. After a refreshing dip in the pool, we took our time wandering the pristine, lovingly maintained grounds, soaking up breathtaking mountain views and the gentle presence of native wildlife.

A heartfelt thank you to Judy, Laurence, and the wonderful team at Verandah House for creating such a soulful sanctuary. Every detail was curated with care and intention. We left feeling deeply refreshed and will most certainly be back.

We loved everything about this property. The views were amazing. We used the outdoor spa in the afternoon and at sunrise. The sauna was fun and the breakfast delivered to the room was fantastic. The amazing service starts as soon as you walk into reception. No ask is too much. The rooms are incredibly stylish and immaculately clean. The grounds are so beautiful that you won’t want to leave or do anything else but sit in the spa and listen to the birds sing.
