What a lovely place to visit. Only minutes out of Atherton, the station cafe offers you something quite unique. Here you are able to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal in a tranquil, relaxing historical setting. The service was good, the staff were friendly and the coffee & food delicious. The decor is amazing and it is quite an experience to sit and have a coffee in an actual railway car. The little museum which shows miniatures of the railway station is great too. Highly recommend for something a little different.

Athertons hidden gem. Has a model railway inside a carriage. Other carriages for dining or nice tables to sit at on the station platform. The menu was very interesting. The delicious brisket toasty I ordered was a real delight. The service was friendly and efficient.

My mother and I had a lovely morning at the dog park with the boys, Frodo and Sam. Followed by a delicious breakfast at the Railway Cafe, Atherton. I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon dish with small bursts of finger lime on top, such a nice touch! I tried mum’s brisket toastie and omg, yum! Frodo and Sam ate all their puppy treats.
We also took a little sweet treat home, which didn’t last long. The lemon ricotta cake was amazing!
Thank you for a fabulous morning 🙂

Arrived smack bang in the middle of Saturday lunch crowds. Staff were amazing and let us know as we sat down there would be a wait for food.

Well worth waiting for. Especially considering the kitchen is churning out bespoke open grill melts etc.

Food was excellent, staff were amazing considering how busy the place was.

A hidden gem in the Atherton Tablelands.

Atmosphere good but when drizzly and windy the seating in carriages are a tad exposed with tge elements. Service pleasant and quick with coffee which were very nice but half froth and remained milk could have drank in one gulp ( not hot enough guys) and, 3. Slow getting it but yummy scrambled eggs for wife and near perfect soft poached eggs but bacon was a disgrace if cooked by a chef or anyone who has cooked bacon b4 in their life!. Really should have complained but didn't it was left on plate so they could see. Not sure why I can't post a pictures?
