We have been in the Atherton Tablelands for the last few weeks, while on holiday .
We have been going to the Atherton golf course a couple of times a week.
Weather has been cooler the last couple of weeks, so I so advise to take a jumper! The breeze has a bit to it!!!
The course is beautiful!
Lovely dam with fountain and creek with water lillies.
Very well maintained. Lovely lady that works there, sorry, but didn't get her name. (blonde)

Not to be missed!
The course is in spectacular condition with beautifully mown fairways, reasonably short, well kept rough and fast greens.
We played 18 holes on a Monday with cart for $75 (2 players).
We expected a good country course and were pleasantly surprised by this little gem.
Particularly amazing since there are only two full time ground staff. Congratulations to greenskeeper Carl and his amazing group of volunteers.
The course has a great variety of holes with some straight forward with wide fairways while a few holes are closely lined by trees requiring accuracy off the tee.
There is one hole with about 150m carry over the dam that is a little daunting from the tee block.
I look forward to coming back here again.

Played another game here in Atherton what great greens. Was a member of Coolangatta Tweed they wouldn’t hold a candle to them. Very enjoyable game.

Good grass, easy walk, wide fairways, short rough, a few water carries. Someone cares about maintenance, it shows. In order of my favorites - Cairns $$, Atherton, Mareeba, millaa millaa, Cooktown that's hard and I lost many balls, at least they nicely gave me a dozen.

Interesting regional 18 hole course in beautiful Atherton. The first 4 holes could be straight from Augusta National, rolling fairways bracketed by towering pines. The back nine is more an Aussie bush stroll, with wide fairways cut through drier eucalypt forest and small elevated greens. Two holes feature challenging water carries. Not a long course but the par-70 layout provides testing golf for all abilities. Enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere in the clubhouse.
