We really enjoy coming to the Whistle Stop Cafe. The staff are really friendly and the food is lovely. They have an exciting new menu and I'm sure that the quality of the food will live up to the expectation. The decor is very relaxing and pleasant and, although there is quite a lot of passing traffic noise, if you're inside it is still reasonably quiet. We also like it because it is not in the centre of town.

Took my family to all you can eat pancake day today, what a fun morning out! Lots of toppings to choose from, well organized with making sure your well topped up with not waiting for your next batch of pancakes, the time slots made it so the staff weren't rushing and it wasn't overly busy, was lots of fun and we were well full with pancake!

Food was absolutely perfect and delicious. Great range of food including vegetarian and vegan. Staff are very friendly and lovely seating areas.

The wait time was a long time. I understand you were busy but it was excessively long. The food was expensive and really not worth the amount we had to pay. The thing that upset us was the guy walking through the kitchen with the big rubber floor mats held up high above his head, past where the poor run off her feet cook was trying to work and our food and others was being prepared. It was a real turn off. To us that is the last thing you do after the cook has finished and the customers are gone. Put us off our food. We won't be back.

Overall very dissapointed.
The cheeseburger wasn't worth the $18 price. My wife didn't finish her hot chocolate. The fries were OK, and the toasted sandwich was definitely not worth it.

We asked what's the difference between the thickshake and the milkshake and got a teenage level sarcastic response "one is thick and the other isn’t" as if we were stupid. We had to ask again what makes it thick, and only then was it explained the thickshake has extra icecream. (It could have had malt powder or any other variation of the many ways to make a shake!)

I could tell the staff were trying to do well but I think the atmosphere is missing in a big way. The staff interactions between eachother seemed very loud and abrasive for some reason.

We came in to relax and unwind after a long drive and definitely left feeling ripped off for the quality provided, regretted the choice.. and not relaxed.

Staff shouting at a customer a meal was not paid and upon leaving the cafe several female staff members shouting loudly and excessively she hasn't paid meanwhile the person who served her was a male and was fully aware and didn't think to advise the other staff that she had. Not interested in paying for a meal there if that's how they treat customers.
