Our 3 rd year in a row, staying in a caravan, at NRMA Atherton. Every stay has been delightful. Always peaceful, friendly and welcoming. Amenities are always well maintained, gardens are absolutely wonderful, birdlife abundant and lots of welcoming shade. One of the best camp kitchens we have yet to come across. A special mention to Shawn. His ability to calmly , quietly and effectively help every guest manoeuvre their vans into place, is exceptional! Every holiday park needs a Shawn, sets the tone for an outstanding park stay.

It’s our second time back here. We love it. Shaun and his wife and staff are lovely. Shaun meets and greets you upon arrival and helps you park your caravan without stress. Facilities are clean and lovely. It’s close to town and the mountain bike park which is why we chose it. So much to see in and around Atherton , highly recommend staying here.

We recently stayed at NRMA Atherton and had such a great experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and well looked after. A big thank you to Shawn – he greeted us warmly every time he saw us, which really added a personal touch to our stay.

We had requested a spot close to the amenities as we were travelling with an elderly family member, and the team made sure everything was convenient and accessible, which we truly appreciated. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the park had a lovely, relaxed vibe.

We may have been a bit noisy at times (sorry! 😅), but we still felt comfortable and right at home. Thanks again to the NRMA Atherton team – we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Nicest campsite we have been to along the whole East Coast! So clean all the time with staff even working past 10pm to pop in and clean the bathrooms and fill toilet roll. Girls at reception were so friendly and Shawn the maintenance man was great. Sites were perfectly maintained.

This park delivers everything!|From the driveway you have a generously sized pulling bay to park your car and van to be greeted by the friendly staff. Who will then personally escort you to your booked site (talk about service). Then they will help you park your rig (ladies no need to get out and help hubby back into a spot especially if it's raining). The park is very well maintained. Beautiful gardens and pathways. ||The park offers a heated pool with a shallow area for children and a waterfall and if you sit under it beautiful warm water. The pool area is flanked by an activity playground for the children and a balaniese inspired BBQ area for the adults.||The camp kitchen is huge! And has amazing rustic verandah with barrel tables and fairylights to help add to the ambiance. ||They staff have amazing and insightful local knowledge to help with your stay.||10/10 would recommend.||We'll be coming back!

Just wrapped up our stay at NRMA Atherton Caravan Park and we couldn’t be happier. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, lush, peaceful, and immaculately maintained. The amenities are spotless and well thought out, making everything easy and comfortable.

But what really makes this park special are the people. Shawn and Janine are incredible hosts who go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Shawn somehow remembers everyone’s name – I don’t know how he does it, but it’s such a personal touch that makes the whole experience feel warm and genuine.

Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. It’s the kind of place that feels like a home away from home.

Travelling from Adelaide to the Tip of the Cape and back, we chose this park some 6 months ago based on reviews. Our experience confirms that those reviews were totally accurate. This park would now be one of our top favourite parks in Australia. Our sites were great. Outlook into the rainforest was beautiful. Attention from Shawn, the park manager, was great. His assistance in reversing our van into the site and the site attention, which included bins that were emptied daily, was appreciated. We would return here in a heartbeat.
