I’m very happy with the service provided by the clinicians—professional and caring. However, the clinic has been extremely difficult to contact for bookings. I visited in person and waited for around 15 minutes, but there was no one at the front desk, so I had to leave. I've also tried calling multiple times with no response. It’s quite frustrating and makes it hard to access the care I need. I hope the management can improve communication and front desk availability—it would make a big difference for patients.

I have just moved from Queensland and regularly got LED and skin treatments so naturally I have commenced my search down in NSW for the same treatments.

I booked online at this clinic for LED for a 1:30 appointment. I arrived at 1:25 and was told to take a seat, within minutes of sitting I was then asked if I booked online. I said yes, and it was then explained to me that when people book online for LED it can double book the machine. This is stated no where in the booking process or online, nor was a courtesy call made to explain. I was then asked to come back in 30mins.

I came back 30mins later, filled out a form, waited another 15 mins to be told there’s another customer using the machine and it will be another 5-10. After waiting 40-45mins past my initial appointment time I gave up and left.

I don’t mind things being double booked but I would suggest a courtesy call to the customer to change the appointment time, not have them be told to come back and wait 40 mins.

I went around the corner to another clinic in the centre who booked me in and gave me an appointment right away. Moral of the story, don’t book online I guess? But reviews below say booking in person and over the phone is difficult also.

I’ve been coming to Australian Skin Clinic at Macquarie Centre since 2023, and this was my 11th laser appointment here from what I checked my past appointment history online. I’ve always been happy with the service in the past because the therapists were all friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable during the treatments. But today’s experience (Tuesday, 21 January 2025, around 3:00–3:20 PM) with a therapist I had was really disappointing. (She wore a full black outfit, no name tag, and also wore transparent glasses)

During the underarm laser, I told her that the temperature felt super hot and uncomfortable. She just said with dismissive tone, “That’s the normal degrees.” I asked her if she can make it cooler or possibly increase the cold wind, and she said, “There’s usually no cold wind from the laser” (I see) but after I persisted for only few seconds it’s still so hot so I asked her again if she can lower the temperature.. later she said, “Yeah, but you won’t get results”.. 😯 (I was in silence for a sec, shocking by her answer) Is this your first time?” [I was shocked again, Ofc not! If she can just at least check customer’s history before starting the laser she wouldn’t have asked that and asked something else like how it has been after the past times - the questions I usually got].. I mean how she could be so rude and insist that? There can be many factors that affect how the laser feels and everyone’s skin can react differently sometimes. So, after I agreed for lower temp even she just said that and made me quite upset, however it felt much more normal temperature like what I’m used to. Thankfully, I spoke up about the temperature, but I can’t imagine how it would’ve felt if I hadn’t, especially for the more sensitive part like brazilian of the treatment today.

To be fair, she did check in to ask if I needed a break and nothing else even a small talk like I usually got from other therapist to make me feel comfortable while doing laser. Also, she did thanked me before I left, but her attitude during the session already made me feel uncomfortable. :/

I have been going to the place for almost 7-8 years now and every time I go, I feel good. The staff takes good care of me and address my concerns always. Mary is my beauty therapist. She is awesome. Her work is amazing and she makes sure to give me proper time, and suggests me things that help my skin. Also, Yasmin the store manager is awesome. Always ready to listen and address my concerns. I give a 5 star rating to both of them.

Overall, I highly recommend Mary and this clinic for laser hair removal. Her professionalism, kindness, and ability to make the process as painless as possible make her a standout in the industry. I am thrilled with the outcome and will definitely be returning for future treatments.
