Booked in for last minute staycation last Saturday. Room price was quite a good deal, paid $197 and got a room for 2 adults 2 kids, inclusive of buffet breakfast & parking on site.
Check in & check out was a breeze with Kelly at the front desk. Very helpful & friendly.
Room was clean & spacious. Bathroom a bit dated but could do with better ventilation from the exhaust fans & sink takes a long time for the water to clear. Might be slightly clogged up.
Buffet breakfast was very busy but the queue was moved along quite swiftly by Diana. Rorie that helped us to our table & set it all up was very lovely & swift at his job.
All in all a pleasant stay, good location & value for money!

Had a really enjoyable stay at Crowne Plaza Macquarie Park. The accommodation was super comfortable and spotless — everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The food was a pleasant surprise too: really tasty, reasonably priced, and better than you’d expect for hotel dining. What stood out most though was the service. Every staff member was helpful and professional, and special shout-out to Serena, the hospitality leader — she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Warm, welcoming and clearly passionate about what she does. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms are small and have cracks in the furniture. Service was good on the first two days after that the cleaning team didn’t even remove the trash from the room. Breakfast just works if you arrive early. We passed by around 10am just to grab a juice or a cup of coffee to go and one of the gentleman there was very aggressive in how they were going to close in 30 minutes. Mind you, 30 minutes when we didn’t even want to seat at the place. Just grab and go. I had a couple of Zoom meetings with a different time zone and when asked for rooms with quiet place to talk at 2 and 3 am local they denied the request and in just one day the lady reduce the volume of the sound. Location is good because is near a great mall. Not coming back.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Macquarie Park for an overnight getaway, and I have to say—I was very impressed! This was my first time at this property, and from the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly.

Check-in at the front desk was seamless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make the process easy and welcoming. I was given a room on the top floor (Level 8), and when I walked in, I was blown away by how lovely it was. The room was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything you could possibly need—perfect for both short and long stays.

To my surprise, I received a complimentary bottle of wine delivered directly to my room by one of the staff, which was such a thoughtful touch. I also treated myself to room service and ordered the chicken parmi—it was absolutely delicious, served hot and fresh. Definitely top-notch!

The location is also super convenient, with everything you need within walking distance, including the nearby Metro station that takes you straight into the CBD.

A big shoutout to the amazing team at Crowne Plaza Macquarie Park—you were outstanding! I truly hope to come back again soon.

We stayed here for two nights to attend a funeral in the area. Room was good and clean although missing a couple of standard things we expected to find. There was no bottled water in the room or soap in the bathroom to wash hands after using the toilet. We were very touched by the outstanding compassion shown by one of the staff Sarah working in the restaurant, seeing that we were still emotional after the funeral, went above and beyond to see that we were looked after. This level of outstanding service will ensure we return here for our next stay.

Service was wonderful. Everyone was so kind, breakfast Buffet was great, rooms were clean and nice.

The bathrooms were quite small which was a little uncomfortable but that is the only downside.

Hotel reception validated our parking and there was plenty of really close parking.

Shopping centre is nearby and plenty of restaurants and cafes just across the road.

We would've loved to hire a movie or something other than free to air tv cause we didn't arrive in Sydney till quite late and weren't able to sleep.

All in all we had a great experience all hotel staff were professional and friendly and we were so grateful to have been there

Overall good accommodation in this area for the price. Better all around to the Quest and certainly better than Mercure where I would advise not to stay.
Quiet comfortable room except I hate vinyl flooring. Mr Manager, tell your cleaners to use spray bleach in the showers to remove the mould from the grout. And change the shower gel from the cheapie to one that doesn't sting the eyes.
The bathroom light shines through to the bedroom at night because of a glass wall so it's impossible to not disturb your partner. Oh, and beware the toilet lid is not soft close especially important at 2am!
The restaurant is LOUD with decibel rating above 69 reduced to 66 after most people left with 40% children. Because of glass windows, tiled floor and gyprock ceiling causing high reflection of sound so take your earmuffs to breakfast otherwise be prepared to shout! And Mr Manager, turn.the. background sound down in the restaurant and reception where decibel rating was 55. Why do you have it so loud. It really doesn't make the ambience better. And while you're about it put a sign.in the lift what floor the reception.is on (2).
Breakfast is $35 all inclusive (1 coffee) and the rather dopey said there was no alternative but when pressed produced an a la carte of individual choices. We had poached egg on smashed avo served on bread beneath which was paper. Now I like to read the paper at breakfast not eat it, so please Mr Manager get the chef to get rid of the paper. It's not as cool as you think.
BTW there is no concierge and no Foxtel to no international news. This is not a 5 star hotel!

We stayed in the Crown plaza for four nights - we had a mixed bag of experiences.
Room was clean and tidy which is the main thing - we had a car, so location was fine for visiting Sydney and the outer regions. Their were some strange room designs with a froasted glass panel between the bathroom and bedrooms? Why! Also no actuals light on the bedroom ceiling - just plug in lamps etc. Service was hit and miss - we were unsure what to expect. Some days beds were made, some days we got a bottle of water other days nothing. Room service for a glass of wine 30min before last order would take 35-45min to be delivered. So I went down to the bar and got it myself - took under 5 mjn. Either you offer a room service or you don't.
Staff were also a mix bag of pleasant and dry.
Buffet breakfast was ok but sometimes hectic - early morning is probably the best bet.
All and all - an alright stay specially if you get the room at a discount with breakfast included. On the point service would have made the stay memorable...
