This motel is tired. It sure needs doing up. The google photos do not represent what we had in our room. The bed just had a brown blanket over the sheets.
The room was comfy enough but the carpet at the door was ripped.
Check in was odd. No one in the locked up office, all done by a phone call to a mobile, a lady answered. I never saw anyone in the office ever, it was always locked.
It was over priced. I wouldn’t recommend.

Great place at a really good price. I found the service exceptional and room was clean and tidy. Take advantage of the pub next door for a brilliant meal.

From the first contact with management to the room the experience is exceptional 👌 Very friendly and clean. Spacious and a covered area for your vehicle. EV friendly. Quiet due to carport on either side. Next door to the Holbrook Hotel which has just undergone $3m makeover. Excellent meals. Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed here for a night, no common room area so if you want to cook anything forget about it. The old lady on reception who was probably the owner thinks she’s running a Taj Mahal so rude and pathetic behaviour for requesting an extra hour for check out as I checked in at 10:00 PM. If you’re in the area look for other options as there are plenty and do not book here.

Spacious, quiet, good bed, undercover parking, most rooms don't have a shared wall, good central location for exploring the area. Bathroom is a bit tight so probably not suitable for mobility issues. Supermarket and submarines straight across the road, bakery down the street, restaurants in both hotel next door, across the road and the motel down the street. Friendly owner onsite, fair value.
Holbrook is a small town but with plenty of attractions.

After trying all motels in Holbrook, Skye is far the best. It gets my personal 5K rating....clean, quiet, convenient, comfortable and cool. Very quiet AC and most comfy queen bed. No shared walls because carports are between each room. Even has shower caps, essential bottled water (Holbrook tap water not too good sometimes) and tissues as well as all the usual tea, coffee etc. The hosts are friendly and helpful. |Perfect for a restful overnight stay on my regular drives between Melbourne and Sydney.

This motel is a little gem. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy check in as we were very late. Great to have undercover parking. Loved the 60’s decor. So good to see that the owners have decided to maintain the hotel and we can still enjoy the classic 60’s decor. Very comfy bed and pillows. Fresh. We will be back.
