Travelling through recently and had many recommendations to stop in here.

The atmosphere of the bakery is exactly what you expect of a small country town bakery. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It can be crowded as I believe it's the only bakery in the small town.

My family ordered several items of different things. My son enjoyed the standard sausage roll. I ordered a custard tard and one of the pies (cannot remember what one, possibly chicken and curry). I would have liked the pie to be a little more chunky than just using mince. But that is my opinion only. The curry in the pie was hard to detect but I understand how it's difficult to cater exactly to everyone's taste buds.

Overall we were made welcome, enjoyed our food and the cafe vibe of the bakery. It's just a short walk down the road from the submarine with ample street parking.

Yep – Holbrook Bakery is exactly what you’d expect from a classic country bakery halfway to Melbourne. True blue Aussie vibes, friendly faces, and plenty of variety when it comes to pastries and baked goods.

I absolutely smashed a pie and also developed a quiche (haha). Both were spot on – fresh, warm, and packed with flavour. If you’re looking to load up on some good carbs for the road, this place delivers.

Perfect little pit stop to refuel the tank – both the car and the body. Safe travels, and don’t skip this gem if you’re passing through!

This bakery is fantastic & well worth a small detour off the Hume Highway into Holbrook. I’ve stopped and eaten here many times, always seduced by the fresh & delicious range of pies, pasties & sausage rolls. Today I decided to try the sandwiches - a selection of freshly pre-made or made to order. I had the mixed sandwich pack today with egg, chicken & mayo and ham & pickles and they were delicious! So good that after eating in the cafe I grabbed another pack to eat on the road while driving on the highway. There’s a fantastic variety of cakes and sweet treats available too. The staff here are lovely and provide friendly efficient service. This bakery is highly recommended - I’ll be back!

The chicken pie was delicious, had a nice amount of veggies, the sausage roll was great the meat was succulent and juicy, although I wish there was more pastry.

Burger tasted home made but I got one I think had too many things in it for my liking but a fantastic burger nonetheless!!

Chips were basic, overall would recommend and come back

We were hungry so didn't get a chance to snap photos of breakfast. But I can say the bacon & egg roll and all-day brekkie roll are awesome. My daughter raved about the ham, cheese, tomato & onion toasted sandwich she had. Great selection of pies, rolls and other baked treats. Two super clean toilets are also available and the bakery was constantly being tidied while we were there after people left their tables which was great to see.

Definitely stop and grab something to eat - highly recommend.

In this day and age! To find value for money! The classic Egg & Bacon Roll still exists and is sold here in Holbrook! Two visits (months apart), and consistently delivered and didn’t hold back on the bacon! Thank you!🥚🥓🍔

Great stop for a meal. We stopped for lunch travelling from central NSW, home to VIC. It’s not far off the freeway at all and it has a lot of options to choose from. This is not your standard style bakery. Definitely worth a stop.
