Outstanding from Start to Finish

This was hands down the most informative brewery tour I’ve ever experienced—and the generous beer tastings were a fantastic bonus. Our French host was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm, engaging, and eager to share insights. In fact, every staff member we encountered was exceptional—genuinely friendly and full of personality.

The beer itself? Absolutely top-tier, with a diverse range to suit every palate. And the in-house restaurant holds its own too, serving up delicious food that pairs perfectly with the brews.

If you’re in the Byron Bay area, this place is an absolute must-visit. 💯

We had a brilliant time enjoying a tour of the brewery. Rhianna was a wonderful guide and shared her knowledge and made it all fun. We must have had 8 different tastings. Food started at 1/pm on the Saturday and the place was pumping by then. Definitely worth a visit.

Delicious beer and food. The atmosphere is chill. I did not take pictures of our food, we ordered the wing BBQ plate for 2 to share and it was perfect. My favorite was the easy pale ale. Cheers.

Stopped in to try the beers, the musk and cucumber were fantastic options. The food was also really good, we had the chicken burger and the Korean tofu burger. The chippies were superb!

Beer Lovers’ Paradise

If you’re in Byron Bay, a visit to Stone & Wood Brewery is a no-brainer. We went as a group of three and had an absolute blast trying out their tasting boards. For just $24, you get 5 different beers—so between us, we sampled 10! Each beer was unique, from crisp and refreshing to bold and hoppy, showcasing their creativity and craft.

The vibe is super chill, and they also serve some great bites like burgers and snacks to keep you going. Perfect for an afternoon hangout or a casual meal with top-notch beer. Highly recommended!

Great brewery - it’s a must while in Byron!

Big open air/space industrial style building with plenty of seating, good for groups. We first came on a Sunday afternoon (around 2pm). Despite being very busy we got seated right away.

Food is great - we got the BBQ platter which felt like a meal fit for a king. It says it feeds two but could easily feed three. Pricing was really fair too. All the other food we saw looked good too.

And most importantly - the beer: they have wide beer selection with frequently rotating taps (I came twice within a couple day span and they had a few different taps between visits). Every beer we tasted was solid, girlfriend especially liked the Little Dragon / ginger beer.

Merch - wide selection with some cool designs. Glasses, shirts, hats, etc!

Parking - large sized car parking lot at the front of the brewery with plenty of street parking available in front.

Spacious brewery at Byron Bay. We got the 5 tasters and the staff recommended the popular ones for us. The brewery serve food as well.

Well worth it! Tom was an excellent tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the company and the brewing process. LOTS of beer to sample (don't drive). The tour lasts about 90 minutes. (It depends how many questions are asked!). You won't be disappointed.
