While sleeping, people from other rooms weren’t speaking in a soft voice they were literally yelling and not letting me and my family sleep. The lights were flickering when turning off and on. The service was pretty good but not the people. Even after asked to speak in a soft voice to the reception. They did not listen and continued to yell. I recommend it 2 stars! Not recommended definitely!!

Not a 4 star. The place was packed it was hard to get a park in the evening. I had to park at the opposite side of the property. The tv didn't work, the bathroom wasn't very clean, the beds were not comfortable and there was a slight smell of sewage the two days we stayed. Breakfast was overpriced and the hot food wasn't hot. The coffee wasn't nice from the self serve machine. Some of the bacon was nice along with the toast and potato gems. The fruit seemed to be all tinned. The staff were friendly and it was pretty quite.

While peoples are talking and not letting sleep and complained to the reception several times but still loud noises wer coming that didn’t let em and my family leave. Not recommended the rooms were fully packed, not tooth brush kits or anything or pillows or stuff sorry but not recommended!

The location is convenient. On check-in I was initially given the card to the wrong room - a standard hotel room with two beds I had booked a self-contained apartment so I could cook meals as I was staying for a week. My fridge didn't work and some food went off. Despite repeated requests for the fridge to be replaced or fixed (and promises that it would) I ended up using an esky. So we could cook I had to trek out to Ikea to buy knives, a frying pan, potato peeler, colander and chopping board. There is a laundry but it only has tubs - no washing machines. If you want to wash your clothes you need to travel to the laundromat in Manuka. There was one bedside lamp in the main bedroom which was broken. There was no lamp in the second bedroom. The bed was like a sponge. The pillows didn't have pillow protectors on them and were dirty - we used our own pillows. The carpet in the main bedroom was patched. The heater was not effective. Rooms are not serviced unless you specifically ask at reception for them to do this. I am unaware if it occurs an additional cost. The rooms could also do with a good clean. I have travelled a lot with work and I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Ibis Styles Canberra. I won't be staying there again or recommend it.

Check in was easy - very lovely staff member.
Morning checkout stark opposite - not even a hello, didnt ask if we had a good stay, didnt ackowledge us AT ALL. I actually had to ask "can I go now"? Room was dirty - dust on bed head ridge, corn chip in my clean bed... mugs still had coffee dripping down the sides. Otherwise good hot water, bed comfy, tv was good.. shame there was no microwaves. Parking was easy. It is very run down -we frequent ibis and the stay at the budget and eaglehawk was actually nicer than this place sadly.

There are several things missing and processes that made my stay less enjoyable;
- They asked me to leave through a side door because some of the rooms neat mine were occupied by school kids. This meant I have to walk out in the cold to get to back to reception.
- They don't clean your room unless you ask, I asked, they still didn't come.
- Breakfast looks very average, so I ate elsewhere.
- No lamps, just a switch for the ceiling lights.
- No laundry
- Gym is pretty much non existent and non heated.
- one aircon blowing onto the bed
- no cutlery of microwave
- TV was not working when I arrived, they had to install a set top box
- Overall the place is ok, but just missing those little touches that would make the place more enjoyable, particularly for extended stays.

The location of the accommodation is excellent. However, I am extremely disappointed.

The biggest issue is cleanliness—it is simply unacceptable. The bathtub in the bathroom was covered in mold. (It seems to be a structural issue, and it looks like cleaning is not being done properly either.)

The fridge contained expired items, and the floor appeared completely uncleaned. (If you plan to stay here, be sure to bring your own slippers, as the hotel-provided ones are only available for members.) The window frames were covered in dust and dead insects.

The accommodation is outside the CBD. Ther isn't enough carpark if you arrive late and very dark in the parking area. The corridors are also dark and need more lights installed.

The rooms are below average and the carpet in our room was terrible and stinky. Too much mold in the room that my asthmatic son could not stay inside the room.

Reasonable breakfast but very long que for the pancake, prepared by auto dispensing machine.
