We stayed 4 days at Kalgan Retreat. Lovely chalet, clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped in a peaceful location on a small lifestyle block alongside the Kalgan river. Only 15 mins out of Albany. There are only two chalets, two friendly horses, several inquisitive goats and many birds to enjoy. We highly recommend this place.

We had such a lovely stay at Kalgan Retreat. It is the perfect location - a 15 minute drive into Albany CBD but in a lovely quiet setting, perfect for coming back and relaxing in the evening / having a slow start to the day! The chalet had everything we needed and was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. We will definitely be staying again!

Fully equipped, beautiful chalets with plenty of room. Very clean and tidy. Located in a serene environment about 15min drive from the Albany city center. A great place for kids to meet and greet farm animals. The host is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

You would have to go a long way to beat this place. Absolute country charm, close enough to Albany to be insignificant - the whole property has a woman's touch to it - clean, organised and sensibly designed. Large rooms and an abundance of amenities that many accomodation providers lack. 10/10 from me.

Very roomy, modern accommodation and excellent large enclosed run for the dog and convenient to Albany and beaches. Farm animals very friendly.

A great getaway experience. Dog friendly chalet with yard. Perfectly set up with clean and very comfortable furnishings. Not far from town. Beautiful and quiet with birdlife everywhere. Next time we'll go for a paddle in the river.. Thanks again.

If you are looking an immaculately presented property equipped with everything you need including electric blankets this is the place you need. This property offers that small farm retreat with beautiful animals to pet and enjoy. The property is so peaceful and restful. Internet is superfast !!!
Bianca is a super host, Very friendly and helpful when needed.
Very resonably priced with all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay. Loved it, will be back very soon.
