Ordered a "pot" of Carlton draught and a shiraz @ $21.80 and the Chef's special Penne Carbonara @ $29.50.
Total $51.30

A day earlier at the Pascoe Vale RSL I ordered a "Schooner" of Carlton draught and a shiraz @ $15.20 and a Bolognese @ $19.80
Total $35.00

A day later @ Glenroy RSL I ordered a "Schooner" of Carlton draught and a shiraz @ $13.00 and a Spag Carbonara same size @ $16.00
Total $29.00 including 2 drinks.

Seriously $29.50 for a plate of pasta that would cost less than $1 and maybe a $1 of tiny bacon pieces is far too much.

This place was close enough to 50% -75% more expensive and the food was not as good. Hardly any wonder the place had only 3 people including myself having lunch whilst I was there.

Though the young lady on her first day taking the lunch orders was very good and the meal delivery was prompt.

Fantastic food and service. Staff so helping in setting up. The food… well let me tell you, platters are very full and food is delicious! From the beginning of booking our function, my 40th and son’s 3rd joint party, the management were fantastic and so helpful. Play area for children is awesome and allows kids to keep themselves entertained.
The management allowed us to have children’s entertainment which was amazing. Definitely will be booking future party here again. 10/10

Perfect medium rare.

Chef Simon was kind and took the time to go through the steak menu for me to decide.

Clean kitchen and quick service by staff.

Thank you to our wonderful host Navneet, who was friendly, professional and gave us excellent service tonight. As usual the First and Last didn’t disappoint with their food. We ordered the fish and chips, which I can always count on a crispy tender fish and super hot crunchy fries, whilst the prawn and chorizo risotto was so delicious. As locals and regulars, we love coming here for it’s warm, homey vibe and good food. Always recommend 😊

This pub has a great play space and is great for families. The revamped menu is awesome and some really great options for all including those with dietary requirements. Love having the burrito bowl back!! A big thumbs up!!

We travel each year to come here over an hour as a tribute to our late father.This year we were so taken back by the woman taking our order(Sammy).She was rude and she had animated reactions to our questions.I thought for a moment she was having some kind of mental episode.( Mental health issue) However we realized very quickly she was just rude and didn't like the questions we were asking 😞Or maybe we were annoying her! PLEASE do better It's a shame, this hotel was special to our late father and we look forward to catching up with our siblings on the anniversary of his death and spend time in a venue that he frequent daily.

We were met and seated by Sammy who was very friendly and accommodating. She helped us to our seats and chatted us through the night. The food was great and came out quickly. Highly recommend the venue and many thanks to Sammy!
