We have previously enjoyed Quondong for a 40th birthday celebration with friends, a wedding where we parked our caravan on the glamping pad, and most recently a gathering to celebrate the life of a family member (which is the topic of the below review).

We hired Quondong for our extended family to gather for the weekend and it was perfect for so many reasons. Between the homestead and the cottage, there were enough bedrooms for such a large group to fit easily – the beds are next-level comfort! The glamping pad provided the perfect spot for a few extras to pull up their vans and pitch a tent.
Between the pool, the bikes, checking on the chickens, digging in the enormous sandpit, the vast areas for soccer, the bocce pit, the kayaks, the giant swings, and the basketball ring there was endless entertainment for the kids of all ages.
Adults were also well-catered for with comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture, stunning views everywhere you look, cooking made easy with the BBQ and pizza oven, the coffee machine, and the spa/ice bath/sauna wellness experience.

During the day, we hosted an event celebrating the life of our wonderful mother with her wider friendship and family circle, and Quondong proved to be the ideal location. We began by hosting a ceremony on the bottom lawn, shaded by gum trees, ears filled with bird song. We then migrated to the pizza oven area* where there was a variety of comfortable, shaded seating options for guests to choose from. We were all so appreciative to have the opportunity to gather in such a natural environment rather than a hall or other indoor venue. As immediate family were all spending the whole weekend at Quondong, there was no need for us to rush off. We were able to remain, watch the sun set and continue the celebration after the other guests had left.
*We hired a local caterer named Kaz who was recommended to us by the hosts. She was absolutely awesome.

Quondong is so much more than what you can see in pictures on the internet. It provides the gift of time with loved ones, with enough room for everyone to gather comfortably without having to part ways at the end of a function. It provides the peace and tranquillity of nature, where you truly feel ‘above the worry line’ as soon as you arrive. Quondong provides convenience coupled with the feel of high-end luxury, with every furnishing carefully thought out.

I’ve had the pleasure of hosting a few of my women’s retreats at Quondong, and it’s truly a place like no other. Kait and Marc are wonderful hosts, going above and beyond to ensure every detail is just right. The atmosphere at Quondong is both magical and timeless, offering the perfect blend of comfort and elegance.

From the incredibly cozy beds to the inviting kitchen, spa, sauna, and pool, every part of the space has been carefully designed with relaxation and connection in mind. It’s ideal for a group retreat, yet the property’s spacious layout gives each guest room to unwind and find their own peaceful corner.

My partner and I had an amazing time at Quondong. The place is absolutely spectacular. We stayed there for our wedding weekend and were able to have our family and bridal party stay at the property. The landscape and gardens are so beautiful we were had our wedding photos taken there. The next day after our wedding we had our recovery party and all the guests were amazed by how nice Quondong was in real life.

Maree was our point of contact for our stay and she was absolutely amazing with her communication and attention to detail. We were so impressed with how much effort was put in to make our stay very special. They have got so much to see and do at the property. Whether you want to relax by the pool or down by the water whilst listening to the wildlife, or take one of their bikes for a ride around the property, or sit by one of the fire pits at night, there is something for everyone.

We can’t wait to come back again!

Our stay was nothing short of magical! The property was perfect for our large group. The accommodation and gardens are stunning. There was a huge array of outdoor activities for both kids and adults. There is a fantastic bike track with heaps of bikes in all sizes to choose from, river access, kayaking, swimming pool, treehouse, large sandpit and chook house (the kids loved collecting the fresh eggs!). We made great use of the outdoor pizza oven and BBQ, and enjoyed fresh produce from the veggie and herb garden! There was even a quick trip to the local winery just down the road (accessible on bike!). Late evenings were spent around the campfire zone (there are two!). Every aspect exceeded our expectations. It’s a holiday we will never forget. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.

One of the most gorgeous places I have been to. So much space and activities for large groups of all ages. Listening to the birds and spotting kangaroos whilst I went for a stroll around the property was definitely a favourite part for me. The kids absolutely loved interacting with the chickens and collecting the eggs. As well as riding around on the many bikes, playing in the pool, kayaking, and digging in the sand pit.
Trying to find time to do everything you want to was the hardest part. It was very difficult to leave, with many tears from my little one. We would absolutely love to return again.

Absolutely stunning place with all you could want for every age. Plenty of very comfortable beds, space, games, bikes, kayacks, sandpit, cubby house, chickens, wood for the fire, outdoor spaces etc etc etc! Loved everything about it- little thoughtful details everywhere.
