Wonderful motel in Gundagai. We stayed on our way to Melbourne to break up our trip.|It was a little difficult to find, as the GPS takes you to the sidestreet, not the entrance. In the dark, I can imagine the entrance would be almost invisible due to very small signals on the pillars.|Once inside, though, the rooms are spacious and welcoming. The decor is very inviting and gives you the feeling of an old English manor.|There was no wardrobe in our room, so if you're here for more than a couple of nights, you might be inconvenienced.|One thing we would have liked was a small bin in the main room. There is only one in the bathroom, so disposing of teabags, etc. needs to be considered. |All in all, a really nice place, comfortable bed and nice bathroom.

Lovely spot and the room was spacious, clean, modern. We managed to get the last available room and it was an accessible room which made it seem somewhat sparse, especially the bathroom. It was slightly noisy (it was a full house) and there was quite a lot of ambient light seeping around the blinds - without these issues, I would have given four stars. Very well located to walk into town for an evening meal; reasonably priced.

Lovely place to stay. Excellent quality across all aspects.
A couple of things to be aware of depending on how you sleep.
1. Being an old place, the doors do not perfectly line up in the door frame, so a lot of light comes through the gaps the whole way around the door. Light stops me from sleeping, it woke me up after 3hrs of sleep and I was walking around the corridors for ages searching for a light switch to turn off the corridor light. I didn't get back to sleep, so spent the whole day delirious. Maybe sensor lights would help and also waste less electricity?
2. Without any soft furnishings or carpets in the corridor, any noise really travels throughout. I love the clean look of the design but did not enjoy how noisy it was.
Still gave 5 stars because it's beautiful, comfortable and a lovely place to stay, will definitely be staying again but next time will bring an eye mask and some ear plugs!

The best place to stay between Sydney and Melbourne. We've done this trip many times and Flash Jack's is the best accomm we've found. Tasteful, an Australuan flavour, clean, classy, everything you want. Comfy bed, good pillows, great bathroom, quality amenities, full Mini bar, good heating, sleeping blanket, big TV. What's not to like?

Very comfortable accommodation with ultra cosy beds. Excellent touch to have electric blankets too given that it was very cold when we arrived. |We were recommended to the Family Hotel for dinner which was great and there is a great breakfast cafe nearby called the Niagara.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel, easy to find and plenty of parking. The communication from the hotel was perfect and the recommendations for things to see, do and eat were greatly appreciated and relevant.

We only had a one night stay enroute from the Hunter Valley to Melbourne.||Location to the lovely town centre of Gundagai is excellent and a short walk down a hill.||Property rooms are equal to a 5 star hotel standard. Furnishing are beautiful and quality toiletries provided. The bathroom was quite large. Pprice is quite expensive though.||We were located downstairs in a studio. Only downside is that the apartment upstairs had a small child who was constantly running and the sound echoed downstairs early in the morning not allowing for a great sleep in. Otherwise as the property is set back from the road it was very quiet.||I would certainly consider the property again but pricing needs to be more competitive.

Comfortable beds, easy check in, clean rooms and bathroom. A good option for a comfortable stay in Gundagai. Entrance a little difficult to find, but easy once you find the driveway. Ample parking and easy walking distance from town.
A few things would have made it a 5 star review. Extra blankets for cold nights (some folks don’t like using electric blankets), curtains (the bed up against a single pane window is uncomfortable on cold nights, and the blinds don’t block out the outside/bay window lights left on at night), a larger refrigerator would be good, a timed light switch for the hallway so the hall lights aren’t on all nigh, and maybe a note in all the rooms about noise (we could hear the entire playlist of whoever was playing music until midnight in one of the other rooms, people tromping in and out of their rooms slamming doors, and we also had to turn on the subtitles on the tv in our room to watch a movie because the tv settings had the sound track too loud and we didn’t want to disturb other visitors)
