Finally got the chance to try the now famous Spanian's Kebabs. The service was great, very fast. And the location was good but wouldn't be on a rainy day. I did like sitting on the crates. The bright yellow crates.
As for the food? It was good, not great. Although, the seasoning on the chips makes them some of the best chips I've ever had. They were 5 stars.
I had the spicy lamb kebab and there was plenty of meat and sauce and the bread was good but the lamb had a bit too many hard bits for my liking. The seagulls sure got a feed after we left. The chicken kebab was nice too but again, a few chewy bits let it down.
Overall, the food is good and I'd go there again but would try one of the other items on the menu. Parking is also a bit of a challenge. But I think that goes for anywhere in Preston these days.

From the opinion as a Self Proclaimed Souvlaki Connoisseur & Spanian Follower since his prison yarns and love of his music!

For a food truck! The bright colours and easy to read and understand menu, including the lighting, yellow crates (seats), umbrellas and even yellow bins, made it a chill experience.

The service from the staff were friendly and well organised considering there was a line of us waiting approximately 10m when we first arrived.

Ok for the food, well I had the lamb gyros original sauce and chips.
I was hoping the chips were good, instead they were excellent with the vinegar flavoured salt, it will be something I will always add to my menu in future.
The gyros for the value was not spectacular but was nice and would probably have it again if I want something light. I need to mention if the sauce was less runny and pita bread was thicker it would make a massive difference but trying to compare a kebab truck to a souvlaki/gyros restaurant is unfair.

My mate had the kebab with the recently updated toasted bread (looked great too) and he loved it as the size and quantity of meat was more than my gyros, but then again it was also more expensive.

So I am looking forward to returning to try the kebab as this is what Spanians Kebabs originated from and hoping to keep the rating at 5 stars.

Went there before it closed at 11:30pm on a Wednesday night, Not sure why this joint has only 3 stars, dude the food we ordered was amazing.

Normally you feel dirty after a kebab, dude this was seriously good. Food came out hot and fresh. Ordered Kebabs plus snack packs with chips on the side and it was top notch.

Real meat used not processed crap.

Rumours are that neighboring kebab places are giving this place low reviews because of competition. Morally wrong.
If the food is good it will speak for itself.

Friendly customer service. Great food. 5 stars.

No questions asked.

Tried Spanish Kebabs and it’s definitely a different take on the usual kebab or HSP experience. Chips were the highlight – crispy and seasoned with what tasted like a chicken salt + vinegar combo, which was actually pretty good.

The meats were alright, but didn’t have that proper spit-roasted flavour you’d expect – more like pre-cooked and reheated. Got the mixed HSP combo for $27, which was a decent size and pretty filling, but overall it felt like a one-time try rather than something I’d rush back for.

A lot of garlic sauce going on, and you can’t really make changes to the order, which was a bit limiting. Cool concept.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ – worth trying once for something different, but not my go-to.

It was my first time in Australia seeing a kebab shop that puts so little meat in the serving. I noticed the chicken döner was cut a bit raw and then grilled again to finish cooking. For the price, the portion could definitely be more generous. I didn’t really enjoy the rice, but the fries were tasty. I liked the pickled pepper they put on the salad, and the sauce was decent too. The music was nice, and the staff had a good vibe. On a rainy day, they even handed out rain ponchos to people, which was a thoughtful touch. I’m not sure I’d wait in line again to come back, but overall, it was a good experience.

One of the worst Kebas and chios i have every had
Young team who where very unenthusiastic and looked like the did not want to be there. Was a drizzly typical Melb 6:00pm evening. Not busy at all, was served immediately then about 7 - 8 groups arrived behind me.
Lets start with the chips. Firstly they were cold, nit even warm as they had obviously been sitting there. They vinegar flavour on the salt i enjoyed, the oversaltness was a bit to much but that is how they market it and was just as expected
The bread tasted old and not fresh like it was a day or two old. Happy to pay full price for a fresh meal but don't give me old bread. The meat we chicken one original and one spicy. Again disappointing. As you can see in the photo either hoy busy before me or underprepared. The meat on the rotisserie was not cooked so to keep up the cut if off, half raw and finished it off on the bbq hot plate drowning out any flavor it may have had in the marinate,
The kebab was full of meat and sauce as expected
Lastly the sauces. Original was nice. Spicy was delicious, however here is the twist. It was nicy and spicy which i loved but all the hype to date has said that the spicy flavour is only flavour and not heat. I loved the flavour and spice of the sauce but beware its spicy and others may not like this
All in all. Absolute overhyped rubbish
Will i try it again, most likely not there are many mire original and better Kebab vans in Melbourne

Big fan of spanian's videos, so I wanted to love the food here. Unfortunately I didn't love it.
Like a few other people have mentioned, the main let down was the bread. It was really dry. Either they don't store it properly and it dries out, or it's at least a day old. It was so dry, it basically crumbles. I got the chicken kebab, which had heaps of random chicken skin floating around in it. The rest of it was really plain and like kebab filling you could get anywhere. Sadly, I won't be heading back.
We used to get kebabs like this on Turkish bread on Brunswick St Fitzroy back in the early 2000's and they were amazing. These ones sadly do not come close. The highlight was the chips. Really good texture and the salt and vinegar flavouring was yum. Staff were super friendly. Recommend visiting on a cold or rainy day as there was no wait.
