Ordered 13meals for our party, most were good and value for money. My steak sandwich was inedible unless you had jaws of steel. The scotch was akin to beef jerky, it was even hard to cut the roll in half with the steak knife, let alone trying to wrestle a bite. I gave up after 2. All chefs make mistakes, own up and offer an slternative. When I explained why I could not eat it, the waitress just shrugged. Never again

Full marks to the Darebin RSL for not only catering for vegans but creating a delicious meal.
We travel all over the state for work & the plant based Parma (not bubble & squeak for once) & the vegan burger were amongst the best we’ve had! Thank you 👏🏼

2 dishes ordered, a very different outcome. The pork cutlet dish was great, really tender meat and sweet. Very flavourful. The linguine carbonara was soaked in oil. I requested a change and although the second attempt was better, I feel that the dish was prepared in a rush manner, reason is that all the ham pieces were all stuck together, the dish did not much taste. Just lots of creme.

We had a function in the function room last weekend. Melinda was very accommodating and friendly and flexible with arrangements to make the day flow easier for us. The food on the day, service and general friendliness of the staff was excellent especially the organisers, set up staff and waiters. Nothing was an issue and everyone complemented the great choice of venue.

Came on Sunday for a bite and the $29 Sunday Roast is great value. Starter was a soup, full roast and dessert plus a beer. Quick service and cooked perfectly.

Brilliant!! Sportbar meals are $20 and it comes with a pot of beer cant beat that. I had the steak sandwich and my wife had fish and chips absolutely beautiful.
