So my Job provider referred me to this mob. I'm thinking happy times, meetings all went smooth considering my job my provider referred me to SkillHire for in first place. However first day in starting said Job rude Indian supervisor pulls me aside to tell me I'm being let go. Okay so I give it couple days, I tell lady I consulted with at Skill hire what happened and guess what? Yep, I never heard from her again did I. Yep I'd definitely recommend this mob 🙂

I believe Skill Hire is one of the best hospitality recruitment service in Adelaide. In particular I must commend Heidi Punch as I have found her approachable and friendly nature to be what sets my experience with Skill Hire above other companies. They will send u anywhere and expect you to do everything like head chef off sick you have to cover him. They will send u places which is out of ur ability but you have to do it. I work for them really hard. but because l had an issue with one cafes staff they said l can not work for them anymore. The weir think is the cafe l worked for was nothing to do with then it was not their costumer. So still l do not get it why they let me go.

I personally wouldn't recommend this agency if you wish to find work. It's not worth wasting more than an hour registering if you never hear back from them. Even though I have extensive experience in various fields and were more than open to do any type of work and flexible with hours, I haven't been offered anything, neither been given a quick email/call to tell me they haven't got anything that suits my profile. That's the least to expect when you take some of your time to give them your informations. I even asked the agent if I should come back to the agency regularly to check on new offers, but apparently it was not necessary. I also asked during the interview to be sent a list of certified website to pass an RSA and never received it. Waste of time.
