Food was terrible. Ordered a well done steak, this is what came out. Note that this photo was taken after sending it back the first time to be cooked longer.. still not close to well done. Didn’t bother asking again after the attitude the waitress gave me the first time I asked. Other steaks on the table were also cooked at least 2 levels below what was ordered.

Revamped recently and now features nice indoor seating and outside area with multiple tv screens and fans. Meals won’t blow you away with size but they are definitely quality and good flavour

Got the Mexican bowl and the full chicken schnitzel. They were very accomodating with our requests, I wanted normal aioli instead of spicy and my partner wanted veggies on the side instead of salad for his schnitzel.
I would definitely come back for the bowl (the crispy chicken couldn’t have been more perfect) but the portion of the ‘full’ schnitzel could definitely be a bit bigger.

Today I took my son out for a steak lunch and we chose Hotel Royal. And...OMFG....it was "hands down" the best steak we both have ever eaten! And we've eaten at alot of high end steak restaurants, but Hotel Royal tops them all.
The Scotch Fillet was "on point", the mash, the pepper sauce and that incredible and yummy goddess salad were unbeatable. Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff, the chef, the service and the decor were all outstanding. We were really impressed and will definitely be back. Highly recommend 👌

Nice place for a family lunch. Parking at rear. Outdoor and indoor seating. We chose an indoor booth. You can also order by QR code on the table or at counter. No table service. Meals arrived promptly.

Burger was tasty apart from the pork, had to remove.

Beef snitzel was a large portion, tender and cooked just the right amount, not overdone. Would have chosen half size if available.

Chicken snitzel full size was on the smaller side but sufficient and cooked well.

Chips tasty, side salad - dressing was very nice. The various sauces/gravy were flavoursome. Satisfying 😋

Enjoyable meals. Recommend.

The Hotel Royal does not disappoint. I used to frequent here a few years ago when I worked close by (when it was Mexican-themed dining) and this was my first time back since the menu has changed. Yet again, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. Friendly, attentive staff who seemed genuinely happy to be there. My family loved their meals, as did I. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Bit of a surprise, beautiful dining room, great food, but you pay for the finer dining. Still, prices are not over the top. Service was exceptional. Highly recommended. Free parking available at rear of Hotel.
