We only stayed for a meal on our way through after reading good reviews. Food was good, with a decent sized salad (which made me happy) and the pineapple and cheese garlic bread was a yummy new taste. The best thing however was the hospitality of the hosts, who were wonderfully warm and happy to share a yarn with some road weary travellers - even letting me bring out my instrument to play. Thank you guys, for turning our pitstop into a lovely experience.

stopped for an overnight stay here (3 people) everyone at the pub were accomodating and friendly; it's a good little pub! nice feeds, good drinks. Rooms were more than enough for an overnight stay, amenities were tidy as well. For the price of everything it's great, definitely somewhere to stop in on when passing through instead of driving past

Ok, I stayed at Wowan Pub for work commitments for 5 nights.
Sue is an absolute Gem.
Ray would be one of the best cooks in Queensland.
The pizza he knocks out is without a doubt,
The best I've ever eaten.
The Beer is icy cold and absolutely beautiful. The locals are friendly as.
DO NOT PASS through this place without stopping at the Commercial Hotel.

Put this place on your bucket list.

Thanks for the food, beer, and hospitality.
I'll be back.

Awesome food at great value, cold beer and a welcoming atmosphere. Good cheap accommodation for a nights rest on our travels. Friday night meat tray raffles saw us leave with a won bottle of rum, you ripper!

Spent an enjoyable evening with Ray and Sue and a few of the locals. A very friendly bunch. Wife and I shared a very nice seafood platter for only $14.

Another old pub. 10 kms south of Dululu on the way to Banana. Big undercover outdoor area. Cold beers. Friendly staff.
