Very efficient. Make sure you have your form completed and your photos up to standard and there will be no problem. The lady who did my application was very helpful. She talked me out of the express option i had selected, saying express was 2 days, but standard turn around time was only 4 days, so she saved me $50+ with the advice.

Could get an appointment a lot quicker this time. Only waited a few days to get one. Wait once there was about one hour.
I was allowed to apply for a one year multiple entry visa this time.
Processed in 3 - 4 days. Collection took about an hour. All up, very happy and stress free.

I went in today after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment. I waited an hour for my number to be called. The staff were all friendly.
You must wear a mask at this place, be sure to take one or you can buy one at the coffee shop on the ground floor.

Unfortunately I didn't have all the documents I needed for a business visa (M) with multiple entries. I was missing an invitation letter from the Chinese company.
If you apply for a tourist visa you must have flight and accommodation booked. For a business visa you don't have to have these booked, but you need the stamped and signed invitation letter.

Second time I went in, I went in without an appointment. But this was only possible because I had been in before and was returning. I also phoned to check this was possible. When i phoned i left a message on their answeringmachine and they replied same day.

Be sure to allow 1 month for your visa application, especially if you aren't sure what docs you need. The waiting time for an appointment is 2 weeks. So if you make a mistake on your application, you have to book again, which will be another two weeks. However, if this happens to you, and time is of essence, come in first thing in the morning in the next day or two, and explain to security you are returning with documents from your first appointment / application. Note the application expires within 24 hours of your appointment so act quickly.

The visa takes 3 - 4 business days (excluding public holidays) and when you collect they ask you to come between 2 - 3pm. I got here 2.05pm and there were already 23 ppl in the queue. Allow about 30 min - 1hr to collect. There was one collection counter open when I got here, then 2 counters, and then only one. Total time I waited was 40 min.

I have been to lots of visa centers and here is great! Just like the one in Sydney China Visa center but Brisbane is even better because they let you in the lift before 9:00am so you don't have to wait outside. Today I visited to renew my Chinese business visa and I got there early at 8:45am and already there was a cue of 6 people. Once inside, I waited 15 minutes and because I had all my documents sorted, it just took a few minutes and the lady at the counter was very good. She was helpful and even the nice security man helped me photocopy for free the pages I forgot!!! My passport page and visa. If you are prepared, you WON"T have problems so read up the info on their website, download the application form, their sample invitation if needed and all is sweet. I can tell you, even the Aussie visa at the embassies overseas can be a real trick to get help sometimes so I'm very happy with my experiences both at this Brisbane and Sydney centers. Thank you!!!

Very efficient, you can be in and out in 10 minutes if you get there before they open and have all your documents in order. They have a computer and printer that you can use (for a small fee) to fix up anything incorrect or missing in your docs.

Busy place, you wait about an hour or more., recommend go after 1pm as crowd seems to due down.

MAKE SURE, you read up on what u have to bring or else u will be one of the bozos delaying everything as you have to go to the one available computer to download the missing info and pay 50c per page to print on the one printer that always seems to have trouble printing stuff
