We did the 3d3n Trip. It was an amazing crew and we loved Ella and George as our instructors for the AWD. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible to just go for a swim as they didn’t had a ladder to get into the boat again. In total the program with our diving was quite stressful but still a really good experience. Make sure you book your trip in a good weather as we had quite a lot of rain. The food was really good as well and after every activity there was also a small snack. Thanks charlotte for the amazing desserts.

My family went on a 2D2N trip with Summer Jo and absolutely loved it! The crew was fantastic, very welcoming, helpful, energetic, and cared about each and every single person on board. The skipper Turtle was always around for a good laugh. The food on board was delicious and always prepared on time. There were lots of opportunities to scuba dive / snorkel so there was something for everyone! Huge thanks to the crew for a memorable trip!

The experience provided by the captains and crew of Summer Jo were beyond amazing! The whole team did an amazing job of catering the trip to divers and snorkelers of all different experience levels. The boat itself was spacious and comfortable and felt like home for the days we were lucky enough to be onboard. On top of a great crew and comfortable spaces, the food was top notch and more than plentiful. Can’t recommend this trip enough!!

The crew of Summer Jo was outstanding, I’d give them 6 stars if I could. They were welcoming, kind, put safety first, kept the boat spotless, and wisely adjusted course based on weather and tides to maximize our time at beautiful locations and minimize exposure to high winds and rough seas. The cook also did amazing things with simple (cheap) ingredients. The dive instructors were skilled, kind, and supportive. We had a wonderful time onboard. 4 star because while the boat accommodations were at the price point, nothing luxurious but ample, it was false advertisement to have a sail boat and pictures of sailing with no actual sailing. We didn’t even see any sails on board. I feel like the boat owner should point this out when booking, it’s not much of a stretch to expect a bit of sailing on a sailboat. Also, while there was lovely deck space for lounging, there were only 4 or 5 beanbags for the 24 of us on board. Not an expensive upgrade to buy a few more been bags or padded mats to make the long (4+ hr) travels more comfortable. And while the cook was wonderful, breakfast was only toast, cereal and yogurt. Something like a boiled egg would be nice for a long day. And ideally more fruit other than cantaloupe. The little bit of non-cantaloupe fruit went fast. Finally, we did not feel crowded on the ship with 24 of us, but if we were full to 30, it would be quite tight and the crew wouldn’t have beds to sleep in.

I’ve just got back from the 3D3N boat trip with Summer Jo. The crew were absolutely phenomenal. The cook mustered up some super tasty meals and made sure non of us went hungry. Big brekkys, lunches and dinners as well as plenty of snacks throughout the day. I experienced my first time diving on this vessel and the diving instructor was so calm and friendly, which definitely helped us feel more at ease experiencing this for the first time. The best boat trip I’ve been on since being in the Whitsundays. Lots of snorkel and diving opportunities as well as the famous Whitehaven beach!

My friend and I recently went on a 2D2N trip with Summer Jo, and it was absolutely fantastic! The crew was outstanding—welcoming, energetic, and genuinely attentive to everyone on board. Charlotte was especially amazing, always going above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.

The food on board, prepared by the chef, was not only delicious but also served on time, which we really appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with air conditioning, making it easy to relax after a full day of activities.

There were plenty of opportunities to scuba dive and snorkel, ensuring that everyone had something to enjoy. I enjoyed the snorkelling which was included in the price we saw a range of fish, lemon shark, sting rays and a turtle. Wifi is available for an extra fee or can go off grid and enjoy the vibe. Huge thanks to the entire crew for making this such a memorable experience—we’ll definitely be back! Our room mates were lovely too.

My friend and I had the best time aboard Summer Jo! The boat was beautiful, modern and clean. There was plenty of room to socialise in the lounge and sunbathe on the deck, where you could also sleep in hammocks or on beanbags if you wanted!

A big thanks to the amazing staff for really making the trip great: Turtle the skipper was hilarious, Adam the chef for cooking amazing food, Lu and Andrea for being the best dive instructors I've ever had (very helpful and caring), Callum for his maritime knowledge, and also thank you to Victor. 🙂
