We recently went on the full day snorkel and Whitehaven Beach tour with Explore, and it was hands down one of the best experiences we've ever had! From start to finish, the day was incredibly well organised, fun, and unforgettable.

The staff were absolutely amazing—so friendly, professional, and passionate about what they do. We felt completely safe and well looked after the entire time. The skipper made thoughtful decisions about the snorkelling locations based on the wind and weather, and it couldn’t have worked out better. We didn’t have high expectations for the snorkelling, but wow—were we blown away! The reef was vibrant, full of life, and a total surprise highlight of the visit.

The visit to Whitehaven Beach was just stunning—crystal clear waters and powdery white sand that’s even more beautiful than the photos. To top it all off, the food was fantastic. A beautiful lunch was served, along with delicious morning and afternoon teas, and a fully stocked bar on board made for a relaxing, luxurious experience.

We had heaps of fun, felt super safe the whole time, and made some incredible memories. This tour is highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back again!

Incredible Experience!
We had such an amazing time on our scuba diving tour!
The entire team was friendly, welcoming, and super attentive from start to finish. A special thank you to our guide Gus, he was absolutely fantastic always making sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying every moment. The food provided was also delicious and a lovely bonus to an already unforgettable day.
Highly recommend explore group if you’re looking for a fun, safe, and well-organized diving experience!

The staff were friendly and professional. The yacht was amazing. The scenery was second to none. The food was blah. Also would be nice to get a coffee or tea onboard. All drinks except water is on tab which we paid for at the end of the cruise. Overall a great experience.

Well-maintained boat, super friendly and professional crew, and generous lunch services. These are people who know what they’re doing and love doing it. Snorkelling experience was good, but the during the dive, the provided snorkels were a bit prone to flooding. Better off bringing your own mask and fins. Diving with Leanne was a pleasure.

Wife and I just came off the Explore Sail and Snorkel full day tour to Chalkie’s Beach and Whitehaven Beach. What a day. Weather was perfect so that helped, more important, Simon and his crew were fantastic. Very interactive, very helpful and made for a great day. Highly recommend Explorer and the team

Had a fantastic half day tour on the Explore - Hamilton Island Hill Inlet, great service and so friendly also did the Sunset bbq cruise and it was a perfect night, food was delicious and staff were wonderful.

Our family did the half day snorkelling trip. The crew were sensational ! Friendly, approachable, and took us through safety briefings and also helped those with younger children and those who had never snorkelled before. The trip was so comfortable, soft seats, clean toilets, not overcrowded. Surprisingly the wet suits were not smelly ! We all felt so safe in their hands. Noodles provided if needed The reef was gorgeous ! amazing we felt we were relaxing in a huge fish tank/aquarium. The trip back was lovely with tea and coffee with muffins.

We had the most spectacular day on the snorkel the Great Barrier Reef excursion. All the staff were helpful and friendly but a special mention to Lacey who went above and beyond helping a nervous passenger overcome a life long fear so that she could enjoy the sights of the reef . Definitely a trip worth doing.
