Had to run in to get two pairs of shorts for my son, I was on the phone with an important phone call, as I had just finished work. When the girl scanned my items I held the card out to pay for it. Then she glares at me raises her voice and goes I do have important questions to ask and I do not like people being on the phone while I’m serving. We go in to purchase things not for a staff member to have a power trip at our expense. Either change it in your policy and procedure that your customers are not allowed to be on a phone call or train your staff to have better manners towards customers. If I spoke to someone like that at my work place it would be dealt with appropriately. Some people have limited time to do things and don’t have to be explaining themselves at a check out in front of the public to a complete stranger.
