Stopped at Gunnedah for lunch on a road trip. Lucked on a park out the front of the hotel so ate there. Pub food has come a long way from when I was young and the menu here was very wide ranging and it was hard to make a choice. We ended up with chilli prawn and mango salad and spicy chicken wings. Both excellent and excellent value and service as well.

I travel to Gunnedah to complete at the drag races held at the nearby airport.
I, and many other competitors, meet at the Courthouse Hotel for a beer and more importantly,
for a delicious meal.
The food is second to none and no matter what you choose, you will not be disappointed.
If there is one thing that I recommend highly, it is the Affagato coffee for dessert.
A scoop of vanilla ice cream in a wide mouth cocktail glass with a shot glass of espresso on one side and a shot glass of your choice of liquor on the other side. My favourite is kahlua.

We arrived at the Court House Hotel and were greeted with exceptional service (especially Kate), room were clean and the breakfast room was very generous.
Highly recommend staying if you’re passing through or staying there as a group of bike riders wanting a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thanks

Really love country food and this place has awesome meals. Be warned they are huge and good. Great food and great drinks awesome combination. Can't go wrong

We ordered an Entree and Mains but before we were even half way through the entree's they bought out our mains. This hotel is obviously one of the more popular hotels in town and should have professional chefs so this is not good enough and we told them so. The manager was man enough to admit that we were right and gave us a full refund. We then left. The atmosphere and decor were all quite nice.

Called in for a quick lunch on our way to Moree, the food was perfect and from what we’re used to the prices were awesome and the service was great.
Would stop there again for sure.

Passing through town, we were looking for an easy dinner. Decided to order online for takeaway (as we are travelling with dogs). The food was amazing! The Parmy was not as described, a 300g chicken breast, it was at least DOUBLE that size! It was so huge, my husband couldn’t”t finish it. Thank you! We will be sure to visit again next time we are passing through.
Although the order was not ready on time, this still gets a 5 star! It is Mother’s Day, the dining room was packed and there were so many takeaways. They offered my husband a drink while he waited. My only recommendation would be additional staff, but I’m sure they are just trying to get some.
