A horrendous stay. The rooms are not clean. No joke, there was a slice of old cheese stuck to the ceiling. Not just scum on the shower floor but rubbish as well. Mysterious brown stains on old frayed towels. Luckily I bought my own towels (and pillow case) The towel rack precariously hung from the wall with loose screws. If it had failed and my towel touched the floor I would have had to burn it. ||Cobwebs everywhere, one in particular held The decaying corpse of a small centipede. ||Autumn leaves litter the car park, scattered by the wind. I offered the owner the use of my leaf blower in my work truck. He's response was that he preferred that they decompose once the winter rains came, that way they were easier to pick up.|| During the night the guest next door reversed her car into the rear fence of the car park while having a loud drug fuelled domestic despute with her boyfriend. I didn't feel safe leaving my car anywhere near there.||Even though it is the cheapest motel around it was still too expensive.

After reading the poor reviews I was a bit scared of staying here. The main reason I chose it over better places in Bungendore is I was towing a trailer and had a dog so I needed somewhere that let me park the car and trailer close to the unit.||The pluses first. The tv, fridge and heater worked well. The kettle was suspect and the water was hot. The bed was comfortable. ||Odd plumbing in the bathroom. A mixer tap for hot and cold water whilst leaving the old disconnected tap on.||Being pre warned I checked the sheets. Not sure when they were last changed and did not fit the bed.||Luckily I had sheets and sleeping bag so made this up on top of the bed. The bedding is odd to say the least with mismatched bedding and weird pillows. ||I guess you get what you pay for. I paid $70 for the night. The motel is old probably around 1960-1970. It is quaint in a way but Greg the old guy who runs it is living in the past. No internet. Cash payment only as no facilities for cards. ||Jay ||Travel for holiday.

Seeing the past reviews of several years ago is not at all welcoming. However, Greg was very friendly, the room, whilst being very small has been freshly painted, bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom has been retiled and painted. A new fridge provided and TV worked. But no cups, glasses or tea, coffee or milk. As it was late when we returned we didn't wake the owner. Kettle and toaster were there. Greg apologised that missing items had not been provided. Other than that oversight, reasonable value for money.

My husband & myself (from Bathurst) & our friends (from the Blue Mountains) had lunch at your hotel today. We could not fault anything. The service, menus, food, wine, cleanliness & fireplace was just fabulous! We will definitely visit again & recommend your hotel. Kind regards from the lady with the WTF earrings!

WARNING: Do not go to this so-called Motel||Upon arriving at the joint we realized the first signs were not good. There was broken plastic furniture piled up on one side & an old dirty mattress leaning against the front wall of the Motel.||Upon entering the reception office (which was unattended with not a person in sight) we struggled to see where the actual counter was. It was piled so high with rubbish including past guest's credit card slips scattered all over the top. Any dishonest person could have picked them up & used any one of them fraudulently. We also got a glimpse of what I think was the private residence through the back of the office. It looked like a candidate for hoarders. It was disgusting.||All of the motel rooms doors were wide open (no guests occupied any) & we had a peek inside one. When I felt a bedspread on one of the beds, it was so filthy & grimy I washed my hands as a precaution. Also the cover had only been pulled up over messy pillows and I would not be surprised if the sheets weren’t changed at all between visits. The rooms looked more like what I imagine a s||This place should be either cleaned up or shut down & is a bad image for such a beautiful little village like Bungendore.

4 of us rode in there september 2017, for 1 night.|Yes, the place is not 5 star, and is rough around the edges.|But it is next door to the pub (almost),|and very close to a good bakery.|My room was ok. The bed was comfortable and only cost $70.| If you just want a place to crash for a night, why not?

I booked 4 double rooms as we had a function to go to in Bungendore and we were unable to get four rooms anywhere else. Should have known that to be a bad omen.||Fortunately we arrived after dark or we may have hightailed it straight back to Canberra.||The rooms were smelly and not very clean, there was only 1 working TV amongst the 4 rooms. Only 1 room had tea and coffee but no milk and there were slugs in one of the bathrooms. ||The reception was unattended but there was a note to say that there were keys in the doors of the four booked rooms.||When wanting to check out the next morning no one was available. I did call the number that was left for us to ring but no answer. Finally my call was returned and I was told that no one would be available to take payment for at least another half an hour. As this was already 9.30am we didn't want to wait any longer so I was told someone would ring later in the week to take payment. Still waiting to hear from them.

Stopped by here on my way to Batemans bay, not quite as bad as the past reviews made it out to be. Arrived after 10 at night and the owner was more then happy to give me a room. A little more then quirky but very affordable & clean
