After reading all the glowing reviews on here, we were very disappointed with our stay at Magical Manderley. However, we have also discovered that there are now new owners, so it seems that the wonderful experiences others were speaking of are not the same anymore. Certainly no little luxuries, chocolates etc. ||This was not our concern though. We stayed in the top apartment. On arrival we found it to be not clean. The carpet was filthy, not vacuumed in a very long time. Along with dirt and dust, there were dead moths and flies on the carpet and kitchen bench, and food crumbs and dust on the coffee table and rug in the living room. The microwave was also not clean. The TV did not work, we tried for over an hour to find channels, and eventually got only SBS. The TV is old, not a smart TV, so no option for using Netflix etc. For the price they are asking a smart TV should be there. ||There is a king bed, but strangely they had a queen size quilt on it, not the quilt in the pictures. Once again for the price, why have a quilt too small for the bed? However, considering the state of the rest of the cleaning, the bed linen was clean, as was the bathroom. ||We contacted the company who manages it, who were apologetic and offered us a small refund, which we did appreciate. They however, did not offer any explanation as to why it was not cleaned, or as it was a two night stay, to come and clean it. ||We are hoping that our experience was a one off, and that the new owners have addressed these problems. The place itself is lovely, with the highest potential if maintained properly. The gardens are gorgeous, and the position is just a very short stroll to Leura Mall.

Best weekend just spent in the treetops apartment and I want come back again. It was like a home away from home. It was a gorgeous rainy weekend so we relaxed making use of the spa tub, boardgames and fully stocked kitchen. Has all heating and comforts you could ever need. Robyn was welcoming and had excellent communication but left us to enjoy our privacy. Thank you!

We have been returning to Magical Manderley for several years. |Arriving each year is as good as returning home! |As always our five day stay was perfect in every way. |We enjoy the spaciousness of Treetops, the comfort - (love the fire), kitchen facilities and the many extras thoughtfully provided. |Manderley is perfectly located, an easy walk to Leura village but very quiet. Robyn is the perfect hostess, around to answer any questions on where to visit etc. but never intrusive. We have booked again for our usual August visit next year. |Thank you Robyn for ensuring yet again that Manderley never disappoints us.|Jill and Robert

We had a lovely relaxing weekend and wonderful stay at Manderley. Truly Magical it was! The accommodation was lovely with gas fireplace and huge spa bath along with plenty of soft towels and a super comfy bed. Also being only minutes walk to Leura shops, cafe's and restaurants the location couldn't be better.||The warmth and generosity of the host, Robyn was above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and lovely treats were provided for our enjoyment including an abundant supply of fresh breakfast goodies. ||We will certainly be visiting again and often. Thank you Robyn.

Robyn welcomed us like old friends and made us feel at home. Our room was warm and comfortable. So many lovely touches, including a cake, chocolates and generous breakfast supplies. All amenities were of a high standard including large fluffy towels plus the latest magazines. Leura is a wonderful destination for a mid week break and dinner at the local pub 'Alexandra' on steak night was a bonus. Thank you Robyn for my beautiful birthday gift...another special personal touch.

Magical Manderley is certainly magical.
Having visited the quaint village of Leura for decades we discovered this beautifully maintained accommodation for the first time.
We spent two nights at Treetops.
The meticulous attention to detail blew us away.
Every room is tastefully decorated while the warmth of the gorgeous fireplace, made it difficult to leave.
Why would you?
Take a spa bath with the complimentary bottle of bubbly.
Robyn provided every luxury required to make our stay memorable.
Too much to mention here.
If it was possible I would rate Magical Manderley a 6 out 5.
It’s the best accommodation we have stayed in our many years of travelling.

Always fantastic to get back to the Manderley and Tree tops. Robyn has always seen to every detail to make the stay something special and memorable. The location is at its best along with the accommodation and service. We will always be coming back to Manderley as it feels like our home.

Upon entrance the room was dirty, smells really bad I nearly threw up and I don’t even want to stay, what’s even more crap is there’s no staff to speak with upon check in and they ask for a $300 deposit with no staff to communicate with?!?!?!

VERY DISAPPOINTING AS WE BOOKED TWO NIGHTS IN THIS HELL HOLE!!!!

We should have continued our stay with Carrington Hotel as per usual….

Don’t bother coming here! Save yourself the disappointment!
