The food was absolutely sensational and my favourite dish was the steak which I gobbled in a few bites because it was so good!

I recommend going here if you want to enjoy really high quality food in the Central Coast and want to dine at a place with amazing ocean views.

We enjoyed our dinner. The food was very good however we were disappointed when we received a Balmain bug instead of lobster with our main meal which was called something like "Ocean & Earth" on the menu however I notice it's not on the online menu now. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice albeit a little crowded. We would like to return again and hope to do so when we can make the most of the view which I'm sure would be awesome.

Just celebrated Valentine’s Day with my hubby. The lunch set menu was perfect, as hubby is not a big fun of seafood but still able to order some non-seafood dishes. The portion was very generous and tasty. The service was great too. The only thing needs a bit of improvement is the air flow of the corner seating area that far away from the fans or AC. The ladies next to the window had to open the window widely and the flies from outside kept flying around, which was a bit annoying while we were enjoying the food. Other than that, I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the ocean view and quality food.

We had a wonderful time at Ocean Restaurant and Bar Blue Bay last night. The three of us loved the cozy vibe with the fire going and the stunning views really made the night special.

For starters, we shared the Shanghai prawns with chilli lime caramel, which had a great mix of sweet and spicy. The Tasman king trout tartlets with cream fraiche, cucumber, and trout pearls were fresh and tasty. We also tried the new Vit Qay crispy skin duck and crackling pork with Vietnamese nuoc cham sauce—super crispy and flavorful.

For mains, we were equally impressed. The Daintree saltwater barramundi, served on velvety Paris mash with vibrant broccolini and a luscious lemon beurre blanc, was cooked to perfection, with the sauce elevating every bite. The Oceans surf and turf mixed grill was a showstopper, featuring a tender sirloin crowned with half a Moreton Bay bug and surrounded by succulent prawns drenched in rich garlic butter. The highlight, however, was the seafood platter for one, which the staff graciously customized from the platter for two (not listed on the menu). This masterpiece offered a mix of hot and cold seafood, including king prawns, premium oysters, cured salmon crudo, sea scallop caviar, Moreton Bay bug, calamari, and fish and chips. It was a flawless medley of textures and flavors, showcasing the restaurant’s finest offerings.

For dessert, we shared the apple pie, which was warm, perfectly spiced, and paired beautifully with a dessert wine that rounded off the meal nicely.

The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring our food arrived promptly and every need was met with a smile. The combination of exceptional cuisine, a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, and those stunning views made this a dining experience to remember. Ocean Restaurant and Bar - Blue Bay is a must visit, and we can’t wait to return!

Food was great! Atomsphere perfect!
Service not so good - we asked for some table water as soon as we sat down and nearly 1.5/2 hours later we were still waiting for it, we even asked 3 times. They also chargered us twice for our wine - so check your bills.

Very good restaurant with great views of the ocean .
Good menu & great staff .
I recently stayed at room 22 and ordered room service for dinner on a few occasions & was not let down at all .
Definitely worth checking it out & above average , highly recommended by JT .

P.S Restaurant is not open on Sunday , the traditional day of rest 😇
