Came here for the first time with Sydney Golf 2.0 on 19th June, thoroughly enjoyed it. Greens i must say were difficult in parts, holding chips or downhill putts, challenging enough. Staff were brilliant and the club in general very accommodating to us. So definitely somewhere I could see me playing a few regular rounds.

I was about to join this course since it's close to me and had decent reviews. Luckily, I didn’t.

I played here on Saturday, 7 June with an 11:57 tee time—right after the members' competition. If those were your “members,” that’s honestly a JOKE.

Two groups ahead of us were painfully slow. One guy (Indian-looking, not that it matters) was taking 10 practice swings and another 10 putter rehearsals—on every shot. It was ridiculous. No surprise we were completely stuck; after one hour we were still only on hole 3 (not even started hole 3) lol

The group right in front of us also slowed everything down—somehow they were playing as a five-ball!?

Please educate your “members.” They’re worse than me—and I only started playing golf a year ago.

The course itself is also in rough shape. Some holes were under maintenance, and many were still soaking wet from rains weeks ago. The tree cover blocks sunlight, so the ground stays muddy and soft. Overall, poor condition.

Honestly, I could write an essay about how bad this course is. But I’ll stop here. Even at under $40, it’s not worth your time or money.

The ProShop friendly. Heavy rains took their toll on the course, so no run on the fairways. Needed to be accurate with the shots else a challenge. Greens were in good condition. The bar staff always friendly and managed to get a sandwich after the game.

Played golf here and the standard was amazing for a public golf course. The staff was great from pro shop to ground staff.

One word to sum up my experience …. “Disappointed”. Booking was made and we arrived on time yet the short fella behind the counter refused to let us play with the simple excuse “we have to look after our members”. What is the point of accepting bookings if you are not going to let us play. We drove all the way from Kiama (where the blowhole is) and left thoroughly disappointed without playing. Would avoid at all cost.

Nice place, very quiet atmosphere. Golf course is okay, not the best I have played on, but it is well kept and the grounds people do their jobs and maintain the course well throughout the year.

Course was over booked. Two groups ahead of us were still waiting to tee off and the guy behind the counter was refusing to let us play saying we should have been here earlier when we arrived on time. He quoted “he had to look after his members” when he’s clearly over booked the sessions. If we would have known this earlier we would have booked somewhere else. Clearly making money first is there priority. Highly disappointing in the service.

Clearly overbooked and told we weren’t aloud to play our tee off time when we were there waiting for 2 groups ahead of us. And were told “we have to take care of our members” why bother making a booking then if you’re just going to prioritise members ?
