This is one of those rare places where you feel the same excitement as dining at a chef’s table — private yet incredibly welcoming. Everyone at the restaurant was lovely and attentive. The service felt personal and thoughtful throughout. They only open in two time slots, which makes it feel even more special. I truly hope this place stays around for a long time.

Right now, it’s my number one spot in Sydney. The quality far exceeds the price — everything was absolutely worth it. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the beef was outstanding — which makes sense for a meat-focused restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again

This is the smallest buffet I’ve been to, they only have a few tables that seat less than 30ppl I’ll say. Selection is very limited, all fresh raw seafood and A5 wagyu and Australian Wagyu.

What can I say about the A5 wagyu. It’s soft and melts in your mouth, but over eating can leave a very fatty after taste lingering. The only thing I wish these buffet have a is a good selection of sauces for you to dip with. They only had one dipping sauce for meat and your usual soy and wasabi for sashimi. Gets very boring after few bites.

The Australian wagyu so so. Some were soft and tender and some were tough.

Love the scampi. It was fresh and creamy. Only downside was you have to peel them yourself, which I have never done before. The shell was very hard, something I didn’t expect. Peeling them takes away your eating time just to note.

Service is a bit slow. They only have one server and when it’s full, she gets distracted and you have to ask a few times to get what you need. But she was nice and polite.

For $200 pp it’s worth going if you have the spare money and a big appetite for A5 and scampi. This is the most expensive buffet I’ve been to. Would I go again….. No I wouldn’t.

I visited this highly recommended all-you-can-eat Japanese barbecue restaurant and opted for the premium $200 AUD per person package. I had heard they offered sea urchin, but it wasn’t on the menu this time. However, we upgraded to the most expensive set for the Norwegian scampi, and it was worth it!

The scampi was exceptional, though peeling the shells was quite challenging at first due to their sharpness. Once I got the hang of it, it was much easier to enjoy. The A5 wagyu was incredibly rich and flavorful, though the high fat content made it difficult to eat too much. Their wagyu, whether raw or grilled, was truly outstanding.

The fried dishes were equally refined, and the raw salmon topped with caviar was a luxurious highlight. While the sashimi selection was somewhat limited, every piece was of the highest quality and served in generous portions.

The restaurant only has six tables and operates on a two-session schedule, showing how much they prioritize individual guest experience. Reservations are essential as walk-ins are almost impossible. If you’re not going for the premium set, the $129 AUD per person option is still fantastic, with a weekday special price of $119 AUD. This is more than enough for a fulfilling meal, especially if you don’t plan to indulge in the scampi.

A nice place. The service was excellent. The food was good but a bit on the expensive side for what you get. We ordered the the Japanese buffet at about $120 each. Firstly, we pre booked the table and one thing I personally do not agree on, is you have to leave your full credit card details to make a booking and they advise you that if you cancel you will be charged $100 dollars. This was a Saturday nigh, and it wasn't even full.
The second thing is you get a qr code at your table to scan to order the food you want. Both our phones had different anti-virus programs, and both our phones rejected the website to order. We had to temporarily turn the virus programs off just to order food.
Once we started ordering, the food arrived very quickly. It was supposed to be a buffet, but some of the seafood was limited to one serve, and unfortunately, the pork came out frozen. Luckily, they are very small, thin cuts, and just throw them on the fire. I've been to many bbq restaurants. The food here is good, not great, and expensive for what it is.

This is the only Japanese bbq buffet that offers A5 grade wagyu in sydney! We went for a special anniversary and were very pleased by the end of the session. You just have to look at that marble and taste the meat melting into your mouths.

You really need to book for this to access. For the menu and ordering it’s all digital now so use your phone at the table to order. the cost of the buffet doesn’t cover drinks so please take note!

Atmosphere is down because it was pretty loud around Xmas to new year times and there is a lot of tourist in town, which you can hear in the bg of the video.

We visit Nishiki Wagyu Yakiniku recently after wanting to try this place for a while. We went on a weeknight for the 730pm sitting. We had the classic BBQ buffet. The restaurant presents as newly renovated, clean and tidy although not overly big with seating for around 7-8 tables. We were promptly attended to and asked if we had a booking. After being seated we were asked if we were going A la carte or buffet. You order off your phone after scanning. The meat is tender and we loved all the different cuts. There’s also other side dishes that we liked such as Karaage chicken, oysters and sashimi. The portions were large. The service was prompt and attentive. A good meal!

Customer service was absolutely fantastic. Very polite and welcoming. Wagyu was great quality and oysters were absolutely delicious and very fresh. Sashimi options were quite limited. The selection of meats and seafood wasn't extensive. A handful of meat cuts, seafood, sashimi, side dishes and desserts. Food came out very fast once ordered. The ordering system was via a QR code which everyone at the table can scan and then the food gets sent to your table. For some reason I would have preferred it old school with some type of tablet and just ordering as a table. Very limited seating so either get in early or reserve a table.
