I stayed at Argo Apartments and the experience was excellent in many aspects: the location is great, cleanliness is outstanding, the place is quiet, and parking is available. Everything was truly wonderful.
However, I had a disappointing experience when I requested a late check-out for just two extra hours. The staff member told me that all rooms were fully booked. Out of curiosity, I checked both the Booking app and the official website and found that there were still rooms available.
It seemed that the staff member simply didn’t want to put in the extra effort or inconvenience the housekeeping team. Unfortunately, they may not realize how much of a difference an extra hour or two can make for guests seeking comfort after an otherwise lovely stay.
However, I am very thankful to Argo Apartments for maintaining such high standards and I truly hope they take my feedback into consideration.

Apartment complex lovely. Balcony was dirty from the start. Feet were black from walking on it. Never cleaned during our stay. Charged for stains on chairs and couch that were never there. No detailed evidence was given. You will lose your bond !

Fantastic apartments. We stayed in 405 for one night. It was spacious and immaculately presented. The front service lady, Mia, was exceptional. Parking was spacious and secure for $15. We ate at the builders club next door for dinner and the meals and atmosphere were great. Towels were really nice quality and was the bed and bedding.

After what seemed a lovely stay we were surprised to be charged a "damages" charge for stains on the couch, chairs, and frypan scratched. This "damage " was not done by myself. No dated photos or identifying area of the room. Balcony dirty my feet were black. If you want to lose your bond stay, if not find another place to stay. Take photos of everything going in and out. The Argo Apartments are a great place to stay in Wollongong.
Convenient location, modern apartments which are spacious, quiet, well appointed and with a view of the ocean.
The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Their restaurant suggestions were excellent and we enjoyed some very good dining.

Outstanding customer service and communication. Apartment was fresh and clean, immaculate place to stay. Close walking distance to supermarket, shops and stadium. On site secure parking an added bonus. Thanks for having us - Francis and Jackee

I booked 3 rooms for my wedding, last weekend.
We stayed 2 nights. Everything was great.. until we left & checked out.

I made sure left each apartment in great condition. With only one , with a couple of items left in room: a spare wedding dress, high heels, another dress which were left hanging up in a closet.

Apparently there were tiny marks left on the lounge which we believe were not made by anyone in the room as none of us had a pink texter.

I was made aware that our $250 bond will not be returned due to cleaning fees. Which I think is absolutely ridiculous.

I made sure rubbish was taken down to the bins in the B & all cutlery & plates were all in the dishwasher & cleaned.

It’s ridiculous and disappointing to be charged for something I know we did not do & on such a special occasion which unfortunately ruined our whole weekend & ultimately our wedding

I will make sure to never return & leg friends and family know to not make bookings in the future.
