I have had a great experience. Very warm and welcoming place. I visited Heads up and was clueless about hair extensions and wigs etc. They took me through different options and made me try it all on. I was there for 2 hours and never felt being rushed or pushed to buy something. Solutions were appropriate to my hair, face and ethnicity.
Sue has been awesome and I recommend them highly.

This business provides an exceptional service to cancer patients. I was awestruck by the extraordinary care, compassion and expertise Sue provided to my sister. Through her care, she turned a distressing situation of my Sister losing her hair to my Sister feeling beautiful in her three new wigs. I can not recommend Sue and this service highly enough.

I would like to thank Sue and All of the staff at Kippax Heads Up for their patience and support during.what was an extremely difficult time for me … after my diagnosis of breast cancer … then my surgery… chemo …and . Loss of hair , also during the period of time whilst I was having radiation
They supported me and made me feel comfortable with my new look … showing me a range of products that suited me and made me feel like me again …. With a range from of headwear and a wig that was just like my own hair

Due to an on-going health condition, I have had dealings with Sue for years now. For years I struggled trying to manage this on my own which was super difficult with nearly no resources in Canberra (& little knowledge about on-line buying, a) due to the cost, b) without being able to try them on, or c) just being unsure about 'everything' 🙁 ). Sue has made this emotionally draining process easier & her support & friendship is a bonus.

I bought a wig. I was in a rush and later found that it didn’t fit - too tight and hurt my head. I was unable to return it - I guess fair enough because I had worn it a couple of times which is how I found out it hurt. After a long discussion with Sue it became obvious there was no solution. I’m not sure why I couldn’t swap it for a used wig that had been donated to charity. I wasted $460 dollars so yes, I’m dissatisfied.

I purchased a beautiful turban and put a deposit down for a wig the week before I started Chemo, fast forward 20 weeks (14 rounds of chemo) the cold cap worked wonders (didn’t loose my hair) so I didn’t end up needing my wig.
No communication (I was very sick and that was the last thing on my mind) I walked in and was greeted my the owner, she was very polite until I mentioned ‘I wanted a refund because I didn’t loose my hair’
Instead of her been nice and asking how treatment went or asked about how I didn’t loose my hair she went straight on the defence ‘this is a non for profit, I don’t come here to serve YOU people’ like excuse me? YOU people? What does that even mean? What just happened? I’m still in shock as I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life. I’m a very nice and polite person but that really upset me, then she threw the terms and conditions at me and sent me a rude text. Not a nice way to speak to any human. I work in retail and I would never speak to anyone the way she spoke to me.
