Trying to solve issues and get refunds yourself is a nightmare. They made it far easier on the legs we booked with them.

My favorite Travel Agency. I popped in here to do some currency exchange for a holiday we are going on shortly, which was booked through Helloworld Travel in Menai. Great customer service at the currency exchange desk. The woman that served me was friendly and very informative. I received a good rate for my exchange, they had plenty of notes available in the currencies I required and we had a chat about our holiday. A great experience.

Had a poor experience with Helloworld, in particular Daniel Beard. Daniel refused to speak to my solicitor and when asked to respond to him, Daniel hung up in my face. I was given a cancellation fee summary more than once, and each time returned a different sum. I then had to do all the calculations on my own and found out I owed less in cancellation fees than I was told.

Would highly recommend booking with someone else or even just booking a trip yourself.

Tried to give zero stars, but google wouldn’t allow it. No customer service at this travel agent (Apparently only the foreign exchange service desk is good, according to previous posts, but I haven’t dealt with her). Once you’ve paid for your ticket, this office leaves you high and dry when you need them to resolve flight issues. They also become irate and literally scream at you over the phone. Ask for a manager, they transfer you to the consultant that booked your flight instead and you can actually hear them speaking to each other relaying what you are saying. They have a “who cares” attitude. Ask them about meals that you requested when you booked your flight months ago, they’ll tell you it’s only a 2 hour flight or that no meals are provided when meals were definitely provided. They have absolute no clue, I’m wondering if any of them have ever even travelled before.

Wow and wow...we got great prices and service when we booked..then covid came and all cancelled. Over $4000 in flight plus accommodation...but Daniel and the team kept us informed .. liaise with Singapore air and refunded the whole amount....took a little time but always we were told of progress.....we are repeat customers and will be again... trustworthy and professional...
