I don’t often post reviews, but I honestly need to give some praise for this fantastic food business. I’m a Glen Innes local and I’ve been coming back here every week (sometimes even sooner!) ever since they opened a few years ago.

Whenever I feel like letting someone else do the cooking for lunch, Sweetie Pie’s is always my go-to. They offer the highest-quality bakery foods in Glen Innes, offering nearly anything you can think of, from sweet caramel tarts and delicious chocolate eclairs, to more savoury options like their garlic prawn pies, and their scrumptious cheese and bacon sausage rolls. Their prices are especially reasonable for the quality foods you get.

I also have to praise the service the shop assistants provide, they are always so lovely when they are helping me grab a bite to eat. Nothing ever seems to be too much for their little crew, and you can always put money on their smiles brightening your day.

They also offer barista-made coffees, and for when you feel like relaxing with your hot foods and sweet treats, you can perch up on their vibrant outdoor seating area at the entrance to the shop.

For my most recent trip, I grabbed a curry steak pie, and a lamb and rosemary pie. Both were absolutely divine on a cold winters day in Glen Innes. I honestly think the lamb and rosemary pie is the best pie I have ever come across. The delicate flavours of the juicy, tender lamb and rosemary combine with their succulent gravy to melt away in your mouth. They also offer mint sauce with this pie, however I opted out as I love it on its own.

If you’re thinking about stopping in for the first time, or if you’ve been here before and want to try something new, there isn’t a product on their menu that will let you down! It’s such a breath of fresh air to see a vibrant business such as Sweetie Pies produce such high-quality food for our small town in Glen Innes. Top work girls!!!

I just ate a Sweetie Pie's Curry Steak pie. The steak was tender. The pie was deliciously savoury and well flavoured without being harsh or overwhelming. I've eaten lots of pies in my 61 years, but this could easily be the most delicious pie I've ever eaten. The staff are friendly. The shop is spotlessly clean and the food nicely presented. If all their pies are as nice as the one I just ate there are good things ahead for this bakery. Well done!

This retailer has surpassed my extreme high standards of food, particularly pies and slices.
So addictive was their pies, I went there for three of the five days they were open while I was in Glen Innes.
The Satay prawn pie should come with a warning due to its awesomeness.
You need to rise and shine early as they sell out of their "standout" pies early due to demand.
Their vanilla slice and apple turnovers are just as good.
Their lattes are also very good.
I would travel 200km to purchase their goods.

I love a pie and this is one of the best I've ever had. Well worth the detour. I had the surf and turf. Perfect pastry, held together well but was soft. Beef seasoned perfectly and prawns and sauce were awesome. Will be back for sure!

My wife and I stopped in at Sweetie Pie's in Glen Innes on the way to Armidale last week. My wife said her Steak and Cheese pie was the best pie she'd ever eaten! My Vanilla slice was also brilliant, the best one I've had too, where the pastry wasnt to hard and meant you could take a bite without all the custard squirting out! Simple pleasures... we ate outsde on the patio so no real atmosphere. Would recommend if you're in that neck of the woods!

If anyone is passing through Glen Innes and hasn’t visited Sweetie Pies Bake Shop it is definitely a must. The pies and cakes are amazing. We have travelled most of Australia and love our bakeries but this one takes the cake.
Our favourites are the Prawn Mornay Pie and the Beef and Guinness Pie. They have also won a lot of Gold and Silver awards for their pies.
The lemon tart and donuts are also the best. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I guarantee this bakery will become your favourite too.

Chilli duck ? pie was so flavoursome, not to Spicy. So many different varieties. Coffee was great tasting. Sweets looked so Delicious! We had an Apple pastry, words can't describe the taste. Service very friendly ?

Really good pie shop.
The pies are so cheap and all homemade.
I had a mash potato and bangers pie it was fantastic. The pastry was cooked to perfection and the mash and gravy very tasty. Also a very generous size considering it’s a homemade pie.
Coffee is great at a great price.
I love the small garden at the front. So cute.
Great customer service.
One of the best pie / best value I had so far.
