I had a wonderful stay! The property was spotless, and the receptionist was super accommodating. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the free breakfast! Plus, they offered some delightful delivery meals. Highly recommend!

We had a one-night stay at Q Motel, but our experience was quite disappointing. First of all, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and we couldn’t sleep properly. There were no water bottles or cutlery provided in the room — we had to fill drinking water from the toilet area, which was very unhygienic.

We ordered food from their in-house restaurant, which was overpriced and completely tasteless. The egg fried rice didn’t even have any egg in it. There were no basic toiletries like shower gel in the bathroom. The fridge in the room was covered in stains that looked like rust, clearly showing a lack of cleanliness.

The only good thing was the breakfast, which was decent and in continental style. But overall, I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

My husband and I like to travel and experience the world. We don’t spend a lot of time in our accommodation - it’s just a home base and a place to sleep.

The Q was perfect for us. The location is very convenient to downtown, to the botanic gardens and zoo, and the train station.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating of our late arrival. The continental breakfast is good.

Large room 2 comfortable queen beds. However, there was no hair dryer, shampoo or conditioner only a body wash. The drain in the basin was broken and no plug for it. One of the bathroom electrical sockets was stuck and not usuable. Had to run the tap for husband to shave. A broken chair in the corner. The fridge wasn't working properly and wasn't cold enough. The curtains on the front window did not adequately fit the window. We stayed here several years ago and will not stay again. The place needs some maintenance.

The lady Lily was very kind to us and we couldn’t rate her more highly. |She appreciated that we had an issue with traffic noise in the front room, and that we spoke calmly to her about it. |She accepted our cancellation for the second night very graciously. We got little sleep. The heavy trucks zoom past all night long. |The rooms are ok. No proper shampoo in bathroom and we had 4 mugs, 3 glasses, 4 plates and just one spoon. No bowls or cutlery. |Breakfast was good.

The room was ok for the price I expected a bit more. The air-conditioning flap is "taped in place with sticky tape and does not cool the room. The sliding glass door to balcony doesn't have lock just chain and no safety screens. The TV's are outdated and need to be upgraded. The bathroom soap and hair product supply is very poor. There's painters tape left on the walls and it hasn't been painted just now. The owner lady called lily follows you around and tried to make your visitors leave or get a room in the middle of the day. Stands outside doors listening to everything and breaches your privacy rights. I booked two rooms one fore 3 people and one for 2 people. I didn't exceed that and I didn't break any rules. I had a visitor I was unaware of coming as he needed jumper leads and she proceeded to run after him and unlock my room door for him. She stood there and listened to our conversation followed me and then proceeded to tell me "I have to know who coming and visiting you have to tell me because it no party here" I stated he was there to get jumper leads and leave and I didn't know he was coming. She tben continued to stand and question my visitors while they were trying to go and finishing talking to me about what are they doing where are you going you want room. Now the rules are no one after 9pm. This was afternoon daylight and they hadn't done anything wrong. Everyone else had visitors and family around everyone else was living comfortably. She made me uneasy and uncomfortable. I stood behind her while she was talking to other workers and she proceeded to run me and my friends down and we were the quietest people there actually. There were rooms having parties with teenagers arriving at 2 am and not leaving. That room was not attacked nor punished. My visitors left on time and did mot cause any problems. She made me that uncomfortable I gave my room to my friends and I removed me my partner and children. I will not ever recommend

We stayed at the Q Motel recently on our way to Airlie Beach. The room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast was enjoyable and more than we expected. The proprietors were very friendly and we will definitely be staying there on our way back down the Coast as we begin our journey back home.

Wonderful place. Bed, shower, air-conditioning all great. Super lovely lady at reception, unfortunately I didn't eat there but the menu and reviews looked awesome. Will definitely stay here again.
