Such a fun experience! Went in April and was cold, so rug up. Dr. James is knowledgable and has great humour. If you like watching the stars, this is a must 😊. Great learning for both kids and adults.

This was a great experience, my parents took us here for my brother’s birthday, the owner was really nice, knew a lot about the solar system and where star were. We were the only people there so we got to learn and look through a lot of the telescopes. When leaving the owner gave us all stickers and gave my little sister particles of his meteorite piece. It was a great experience and we learnt a lot. Big thanks to the owner for explaining everything to us.

If you didn’t know that you loved astronomy you will know it after you spend an evening under the stars at the observatory. The host “James” is entertaining and all knowing as he guides everyone, young and old, to each see planets, stars, galaxies and nebula up close. The evening flys by as James shares his passion for our earth, science and creating a fabulous, memorable evening for all of his guests.

Ticketed attraction. Jim is very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our time spent with him and our group.
Although a large group (36ppl) Jim did his best to work with everyone to ensure we all got the best astronomy lesson possible.
Certainly recommend rugging up as it is a night event under the stars. Jim has blankets on offer and you will need them if not prepared to freeze.
Jim was very happy and willing to stay back well after our session time had ended to answer any questions.

Awesome experience and James is very knowledgeable and friendly person. Kids loved looking up to the stars and planets. An awesome experience for all ages.

Best time to visit is Winter months when moon is not visible. On a clear night, one can see the milky-way stretching across the sky.
