I stayed at and reviewed this property a few months ago. I stayed again this week.||Cleaning and maintenance is an issue. Drad cockroaches. Wine glasses not cleaned. Old coffee pods left behind. Toilet not clean and seat detached. ||Expectation management is also an issue. The description of room types on agoda don't correspond with the motels internal designation of rooms. We had friends staying at the same time who also mentioned issues with cleanliness.||Last time I booked exact the same room type as this time. Last time the room was twice the size and much more comfortable than this time. Indeed the size of the room was the main reason I came back. It's possible I got a free upgrade last time and was not told about it. If you get a free upgrade that should be disclosed as firstly the guest will be grateful (who doesn't like an upgrade) but also the guest won't expect the same standard next time and be disappointed at a perceived downgrade.

Very nice new motel, very comfy bed and a spacious bathroom. Lots of lighting options in the room and the continental breakfast was a nice touch. Unfortunately though the air con seemed to be locked at 20c which for us was too warm and was not conducive to a good sleep. The windows could not be opened either. I wouldn’t like to stay here in peak summer, it will be stifling. Shame because it is such a nice room otherwise.

Really nice hotel for the countryside. Feels very modern on both the inside and out. Checking-in is a little strange having to go to the pub opposite (when the reception desk is not staffed), but it works!

Would definitely consider staying here again if visiting Scone in the future.

Wow, what a surprise - this property has to be one of the best outside of Sydney. Having been in international hotels for over 30 years, feel I can comment. Stay there and you cannot be disappointed. Great value for money. We will return and we will tell our friends to stay also.

Located in a quiet street, one off the main road. Warm and friendly staff and room includes a continental breakfast. Extremely clean and tidy, car parking underneath and a lift if needed to access your room. Rsl across the road for meals. We would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Location slightly out the very centre of town, but walking distance to main street. Across the road from an RSL with which it is affiliated.||The building is architecturally questionable as the whole thing looks like a car park. It does make parking convenient, however.||The rooms themselves are nice - i paid a little more for a suite.||Although the fit out looks good, it is low quality and will not last long. It wont take long before a shower door smashes because they are large and swing right into the towel rail. ||Bed was uncomfortable (i think it was two singles pushed together which is a big no no for me). ||Windows cant be opened and the air con controls are jammed.||Free breakfast is good in theory but its just two slices of bread (not great if traveling with a partner) as well as a few little bags of cereal. I opted to walk to a cafe. ||The glassware was not clean. ||A little expensive for a rural motel with no facilities other than the room.

Definitely a cut above most rural accommodation. Located across the road from RSL for an evening meal. It had the best shower and bed of any hotel I’ve stayed in for about 12 months (that’s probably 50 other hotels). ||Why have I only given this 3 ⭐️? Well it’s too money and it’s missed some very key points. ||*We booked a room for 3, but only 2 towels!|*We booked a room for 3, but only 2 coffee cups!|*Had to juggle pillows to get one for each with pillow covers. The 3rd beds linen didn’t have any covers. |*Air-con wouldn’t go below 20c and the windows are sealed. So this made the rooms a little warm for sleeping, and this was the middle of winter.
