Raglan station is long closed and is no longer an active station, but trains still travel along the existing tracks to and from Bathurst.

The station and the surrounding area is now sealed off by a fence to keep would be vandals from further damaging the disused station building.

It was also likely installed for safety purposes to stop people from crossing the active tracks and getting accidentally hit by a passing train.

The photo I took was from many years ago when there was still available access (no fence) so nowadays, you would need to look and admire the station from behind the fence.

You will be waiting a long time to get a train from this location. The now disused Raglan train station sits between two active rail lines at the far edge of the village of Raglan. The station is boarded up but vandalism means some of this boarding has been removed. Two pot plants still remain on the southern platform with the stumps of long dead shrubs still sticking out of them.
