We are still buzzing after our dream Sydney wedding was brought to life by Sam and her wonderful team in March 2024.

As two busy professionals based overseas, we hired Sam for her ‘everything-but-the-venue’ package, having already selected and booked our venue before meeting Sam. In terms of costs, she was by far the best value of money out of all the vendors we worked with. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam to any bride with champagne taste and a prosecco budget (like myself)! Sam helped us keep a close eye on budget, work out the ‘nice to haves’ from the ‘must haves’, and was able to leverage her industry relationships effectively to negotiate some great deals, effectively stretching our budget as far as possible. The end result was everything we hoped for – a beautiful, chic, modern and atmospheric wedding. Sam completely nailed the brief.

Sam is an absolute delight to work with and made the process of overseas wedding planning so easy and fun. She is a people person, taking the time to truly understand us as a couple. She also went above and beyond in making sure that our family and friends felt supported in the lead up to the wedding and on the big day. For example, she took the time to brief our MC and walk her through the run sheet ahead of time, which was much appreciated! Sam’s support meant the weeks and months leading up to our wedding was as stress-free as possible.

On the day, Sam and her team were an amazing and reassuring presence and really helped us fully enjoy our special day. A huge thanks must go to Portia for her work in packing up after the event, making sure our flowers were kept safe so we could re-use them for our recovery BBQ, and liaising with my bridesmaids – it was so nice knowing that everything was taken care of and I didn’t have to spend the day after my wedding cleaning up or tracking down a lost guest book!

Thank you again to Sam and team for all your amazing work, we miss working with you and can’t wait to see what the future holds for SBE!

Our wedding was nothing short of spectacular. None of it would have been possible without Sam’s knowledge and expertise.

She is personable, understanding, patient, and attentive. She truly took the time to understand us as a couple. She was always open to our ideas and was our biggest advocate when working with vendors to achieve our goals. She worked within our budget to help plan the most magnificent wedding, with our main priorities in mind. She was exceptionally professional throughout, while still making us feel like she was our new best friend.

We were planning our wedding in Sydney while living a few hours away. Sam recognised this and was incredibly flexible and accommodating. She eased all our fears and removed all challenges from our path. She is a force to be reckoned with. When we tell you that our day was seamless due to Sam’s efforts alone, we mean it from the bottom of our hearts.

It is also worth mentioning that the team of vendors Sam works with are fantastic, communication with her and her team was a breeze, and that she planned every detail to perfection.

It was an immense relief seeing Sam on our wedding day. We were able to relax and be fully present on our special day knowing that everything had been taken care of. We were even able to enjoy the weeks building up to our wedding because Sam had everything under control!

Working with Sam was a highlight of our wedding planning process. We could sing her praises all day, and wish we had another wedding to plan, just so we could work with her again!

Samantha was our on the day coordinator for our wedding back in January at Blackburn Gardens. She did such an amazing job bringing our day together seamlessly! There were so many bits and pieces that went into it, not to mention the awkward location of the gardens I had no idea how it could possibly come together but all of this was no issue for Sam. She was enthusiastic, clever, and worked her magic effortlessly to make our day go off without a hitch. She was also incredibly generous with her time in the lead up giving me tips and recommendations for suppliers and the general flow of the ceremony. Thank you so much Sam!!!

Where do we start!! Samantha Burke and her team were the reason we had such a beautiful and stress free wedding day. We got married in November 2023 with our wedding held in the Sydney Opera house (ceremony in the Utzon room and reception in Yallamundi).

We worked closely with Samatha to help us with styling and on the day co-ordination. She had an amazing list of vendors to work with and she knew exactly what would work for us given our style and personality. She went above and beyond to arrange site visits with the vendors and the venue. She really helped us to make smart decisions. She prepared a detailed run sheet for the day and stress tested it multiple times with the vendors and venue to ensure everything was in aligned. Ultimately, all this work that Sam did ensured a smooth, seamless and stress free wedding day. We had absolutely no reason to worry as everything went according to plan. Her coordination team swung into action on the day and were professional, efficient and on the ball with everything!

During the planning phase, Sam was incredibly supportive and organised. She was able to source and coordinate great vendors fitting our brief as well as being highly responsive to any questions we had on the way.

Both on the day, and day prior, Sam and her team took charge of coordinating the entire wedding setup, which included the rehearsal, seating arrangements, florals, coordinating vendors, and guiding the wedding party.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Sam as our wedding planner and we can say with complete confidence that she is truly amazing. From the moment we first spoke, Sam immediately put us at ease as we knew she understood the kind of day we were after and how to make it happen.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Sam and her team from Feb 2021 until our wedding December 2022. If we could give her 10 stars we would. For such an important event, investing in Samantha’s services was easily the best money we spent.

She helped us truly have the wedding of our dreams, from connections to the best vendors in the industry, to thinking of details that would have never occurred to us. Neither my husband nor I had strong opinions about decor, but she designed an ambience that was above and beyond anything we could have created ourselves. She is incredibly transparent, respectful, and takes all feedback on board to really ensure her clients are as happy as possible, and she is genuinely a delightful human (as is everyone on her team). To say she nailed the brief is a serious understatement.

Most importantly, she helped us avoid the typical stress of wedding planning by leveraging our 18 months together to set expectations well ahead, help narrow decisions so we didn’t have to spend hours researching, phase different tasks in (instead of bundling them all 6 months out) as well as coordinating everything and handling all details in the lead up and on the day so that we could be as present as possible and actually ENJOY our wedding with our 130 guests, many of whom traveled from interstate and overseas.

A lot of our friends and family were surprised at how relatively calm and unstressed we were in the weeks leading up to the wedding — all thanks to Sam.
