Sometimes you see a viral treat on Instagram and brace yourself for disappointment but Madame and Yves’ crème brûlée hot cross bun not only lived up to the hype, it exceeded it. We actually crossed the bridge to get there, and it was so worth it.
The ratio of bun to custard was absolutely perfect, the flavours were true and balanced, and the layer of torched toffee? In the Goldilocks zone as it crunched just right.
We will be back every week until this Easter is over...and dreaming of it until the next one.

I came here recently to try one of their viral creme brulee hot cross buns. The bun itself was absolutely delicious, however the flavor of the cream took away from the overall experience. It was more like a custard.

I also had a croque monsieur croissant which really wasn't very pleasant due to the bechamel sauce.

I think I may have just been unfortunate with the items that I purchased, but I was slightly disappointed.

I came here one afternoon after work to grab a cake and was not disappointed with what they had. This cake looks and tastes amazing. Not too sweet and was perfect for a party of 10. I will definitely come back and check out their other cakes

The almond croissant at this place is top tier. The pastry's flakiness was just perfect, and the almond filling inside was spot on. Every aspect of the croissant was faultless. I also tried the crookie, which was equally delicious and satisfied my sweet tooth. Coffee complemented the whole experience perfectly. I would definitely come back here.

Excellent pastries and cakes. We tried the raspberry almond croissant, it's a quite unique flavour and surprisingly we enjoyed it so much. The combination of sweet and sourness that comes from the raspberry. The baked cheesecake was quite nice. I'll come back again one day to try different cakes and pastries

I relented and tried the creme Broulee hot cross bun and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. There were a lot of people in the shop but I was served very quickly. I was a bit shocked to pay $8.80 for a hot cross bun BUT, worth every cent.

A classic croissant. Great butter flavour, lovely lamination and texture. Light and chewy. Pie was also great, fresh, excellent quality filling.

Sinful and delicious. No better way to spend a soggy Sunday in Sydney! After getting up at 6am in a thunderstorm to Walk for WAGEC in Centennial Park, I treated myself to a luxe hot chocolate (served with a surprise and squidgy vanilla marshmallow cube!) and Ferrero croissant followed by the viral CROOKIE - served warm - which was melt-in-the-mouth gooey-ness personified. Don't walk... RUN!! 🏃‍♀️ #adamandeve #croissantfairyland
