I have done a few Contiki's now. In New Zealand, Europe and South America. I've always had the most incredible time! Met some of the most amazing people and the tour manager's were always SO organised and took care of all of the stressful things, it could mean I could just lie back and enjoy all of the destinations! They would always go above and beyond too, in South America our trip manager managed to get the group tickets to a rival soccer team game in Rio that was pretty much sold out, it was probably one of the most incredible experiences in my life to date. Also, before I went on Contiki I was worried about having enough free time as there's also so much included, but they're all the things I wanted to do anyway and then had enough free time to go off and do my own thing too

Just booked and paid a nok refundable $300 deposit to my 2025 trip to Thailand West Island Hopper in January 2025.

I paid the minimum deposit to hold the booking on 11/1/24. You need to wait 24hrs until your booking becomes accessible to take further action. I waited 24hrs. My booking wasn't available. I enquired over online chat with a Ryan (I think?) about why my trip wasn't accessible I was told to wait another day. I told him it had already been 24hrs. The link should be available. Ryan then proceeded to tell me that it was just a system delay and that it should be up in another day or two.

Once I mention that I'd like to pay money to the trip on top of my deposit, and that's why I would like access to my account, the fastest reply in the world! "I can give you an online link to forward your money to."

It seems sketchy to me that priority would be to taking money than solving the problem, the problem being access to my account. Secondly, it would be in the best interests of the company if booking were done as soon as possible so, once again, why wasn't that tended to first? I also find it sketchy that as soon as I mentioned money, the conversation tended to finally travel to a solution.

I have now done 6 tours with Contiki and cannot say a bad word about them! The trip managers are incredible and so knowledgeable. Contiki makes travelling really easy and stress free. I have made lifelong friends because of Contiki and I am now planning my 7th tour with them and I am beyond excited!

Had a great trip to Europe with an awesome bunch of people. Amazing experiences that I would never have thought to do if I was travelling by myself - so biggest kudos to the Trip Manager! Just booked my second Contiki, this time to Vietnam 😀

I've done three Contikis all up and they changed my life! Experiences I've been able to share, met people I would never have met in my day to day life and I've created life long friends; many a Contiki birthday and wedding has been celebrated lol.
Well worth it!

Have loved each and everyone of my 5 Contiki's. Each trip offered something different, which has kept me wanting more. The Trip Managers were amazing, and had such great groups.

I did a 6 week Contiki camping tour through Europe and absolutely loved it! Made friends for life and countless memories. Have toured with other companies such as Topdeck and Busbaout and they just do not compare to the quality of a Contiki tour.

The people on my trip were amazing. I made friends for life that to this day I still catch up with. The accommodation owned by Contiki in Italy, Austria etc was extremely dirty, and made half of the tour very sick with a stomach bug. My tour guide didn’t care at all that we were sick and all she said was “well what do you want me to do”.... umm maybe direct me to the nearest pharmacy or doctor, since you have a SIM card and I don’t. They are supposed to be supportive as it was many of us’ first time travelling alone. Also the bus aircon gave all of us Contiki cough chest infections that a lot of us needed antibiotics to get rid of.
They also delete any negative reviews less than 3 stars off their website - beware of that!
