As many people have posted about this company, the worst customer service experienced, still waiting for refund from Covid flight cancellation. They just keep on sending the same blanket response. This company is a scam and should be shutdown and not allowed to operate.

As many others that I have seen on this review,
We had purchased flight tickets from them and have been following since last 3 almost 4 years to get a refund.
We couldn't travel due to COVID and now it's been 3 years already and whenever I follow up with them, they reply saying the refund is in process or they are going to talk to account team.

It should be a way we can get our money back, us and all the people that I have read in the same situation.

Believe me don't trust this agency, it's rubbish, its irresponsible, they just play with you with the same answers it's been the worst experience!
I really don't know how this type of agencies are still working!

I am looking for all platforms to spread this awareness against this fraudulent agency.

I had purchased flight tickets from them with and have been following since last 3 years to get a refund or at least a partial refund for my purchase. I couldn't travel due to COVID, and I understand businesses were affected, but now it's been 3 years already and whenever I follow up with them, they reply saying the refund is in process and they have been doing that for last 2 years.

I reckon people to stay away from this agency at any cost. They are the worst!

I am looking for all platforms to spread this awareness against this fraudulent agency.

I held flights with Emirates through Direct Flights, and like many people, had the flights cancelled with COVID boarder closures.

I applied for refunds and was worried I would ever see the money again. It did take some time, but Direct Flights answered all my emails promptly and kept me abreast of developments and the progress of my claim.

Direct Flight's staff responded promptly and professionally and I am pleased to report the funds have been credited to my account with minimal charges.

I feel confident in booking with Direct Flights in the future.

Like others, we had a smooth booking experience. When we finally decided to cancel out flights due to the Covid pandemic, we were told to wait 3-4 months for the refund. We waited a lot longer than that and sent emails to check in regularly. To Direct Flight’s credit, they always responded to our emails courteously during an obviously tough time for travel. We did become impatient and almost gave up when out of the blue we received an email to say that our refund was coming through and it arrived in our account a couple of days later. Hang in there if you’re waiting for a refund, it should come! Thank you to Direct Flights for staying true to your word.

I normally do not post reviews. However my family had an incredibly negative experience with this booking platform. We booked a flight for my daughter last Monday and received a confirmation email. The next day, my daughter saw a flagged email in her spam folder titled "VERIFICATION REQUEST" which looked dodgy to us so we did not click the link and instead called them directly.

They told us that her flight from Mumbai to Goa was no longer booked and we need to pay a fee of $285. When asked to explain their reasoning they said we didn't click the link. We weren't told anything further. My daughter was on the phone with them for over an hour and the lady she was talking to was sympathetic and managed to get the price down to $108.

The lady then said that she managed to get the price so low because she took out the companies profit margin from the flight - which is ridiculous considering that we were given less than 24hrs to respond to this email (which looked dodgy in the first place, and we were asleep) and no attempts were made to call my daughter over the phone. Their website had no disclaimers or information stating that we will need to complete verification.

The only options we were given was to pay the $108 or to cancel our whole booking. Which would have meant waiting for the money to be refunded and having to find another flight on short notice.

My daughter was then asked for my husbands ID. Nobody explained why they needed it they just said "security purposes". Once again, after another long phone call they finally explained that they needed the card holders ID. I was the cardholder!! So we sent them a copy of my ID which they then responded by saying they need my daughters ID before they can process the booking. I'm now worried I sent our information to a scam artist! This was at 9am this morning and our "great price" was expiring at 10am.

Honestly, this entire experience felt like a scam. I deeply regret booking here in the first place. This company is unprofessional and extortionate. It is completely unreasonable to expect your customers to click a verification link from a dodgy looking email without any notes or information on the website. Had they prompted us to upload an ID during the booking process we would have done so, instead they charged us more money. Including a second transaction fee which they told us wouldn't be applied.

We have to call them again now because we are still waiting on written confirmation that the flight is booked and ready. Never again will I make the mistake of booking with Direct flights.

I wanted to edit to add the icing on the cake, my daughter just called (9:25am) and was told they can't open the verification documents so her flight is still pending. They then HUNG UP ON HER. So we're on hold again!

this company doesn't exist. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THEM. IT IS A SCAM.
So poor in customer support. My flight got cancelled without giving an option and I did try to contact these guys. no response and solution for the last 24 hours. so irresponsible. and the cancelled flight is still listed on the website for new booking. I am sure they are cancelling the old bookings and taking new to get make the last-minute bargain and profit. Never book your flight with these guys.

I booked a flight from 29/2/2020 through direct flights, and due to covid pandemic it got cancelled. My stopped flying to my destination so I had to buy another ticket and hope I got a refund.

I applied for a refund the 3rd of June, and after waiting the stated process period I contacted direct flights every months to know the state of my refund. I got a reply every time within hours or a day or two stating that my refund is still being processed and due to the large amount of requests it will take some more time - just as one would expect in a time where at least 90% of flights worldwide where cancelled.

Finally, a couple of weeks ago when asking for my refund I was told, it got to the accounting department and it would take 10 to 14 business days to be applied to my credit card and finally it did!

So thank you Direct Flights, it's been as good as it could have been to go through this with you.
