We had an amazing stay at Mount William Station. We loved the property, the history and the peace and quiet. The staff were exceptional, special thanks to Devon and Marjorie for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming. Food prepared by chef Kevin for breakfast and dinner was exceptional. I have tried a lot of food all around the world and been to a lot of fancy restaurants and this rivalled all of them. The trout dish with gnocci we had the second night was the best dish I have had in my life. We would definitely return to the property in the future and would love for family and friends to experience what we did.

Beautiful homestead and unique experience.
The elegant homestead is a living breathing example of times past,maintained as a home.
I love that it feels both lived in and elegant.
We picked a random weekend and were delighted to be seated with strangers at dinner who we felt like we knew when we met them again at breakfast.
While the food was divine and served to us beautifully, it felt relaxed and informal.
Kevin the chef created magical three course meals to match any fine dining experience, and Devin and Marjorie were wonderful hosts available for any questions but stayed in the background to allow us to wander round the beautiful property like we were the only ones there.

Our large friendship group (9 adults and 13 children) recently spent the weekend at Mt William Station. The stunning homestead and surrounding gardens and farm outhouses was the most idyllic property for our 2 night stay. The house so thoughtfully decorated with electic pieces giving it charm, yet with modern comforts and luxuries. Wonderful staff who were friendly, polite and attentive, yet once service was done left us to enjoy the homestead as if it was our own!
We swam (gorgeous pool & sauna) played tennis, played golf, read, roamed the garden and relaxed, and generally relaxed - always an activity for young or old - we didn't have to leave the property.
The chef (Kevin) created stunning breakfasts & dinners for our group (children eating at farmhouse kitchen table and adults in the more formal dining room).
I can not recommend this venue highly enough for a group family / friends holiday destination.

Our stay at Mount William Station in Willaura was absolutely perfect! It had everything we were looking for—seclusion, luxury, and plenty to do. The tennis courts, six-hole golf course, swimming pool, and sauna kept us entertained and relaxed, while the stunning surroundings made it feel like a true escape.

The food and wine were top-notch, and the service was five-star without being stuffy. We were lucky with the weather, but we can totally picture cozying up by the open fireplace in winter.

A perfect taste of Australia with all the luxury perks—we’ll definitely be back!

Elegant, grand and relaxed! A stay at Mt William Station stops the clock and leaves the pressures of the world at the front gate. Rich in history and style. ||The chef inspired and presented food is amazing as is the scenery. The Station is a place where the grand days of Australia’s pastoral homesteads meets relaxed modern country hospitality. Definitely a must-visit! ||Our room was elegant and comfortable. |Bathroom was clean with good amenities|The gardens were well tended and very relaxing |The staff went beyond, non intrusive, friendly and we could not fault. |The best of the Grampians. ||We will go back !

We had our wedding at Mount William last weekend, with a combination of Melbourne Australians and touring English. Mount William Station is a fantastic venue, with Nadia and the team doing a great job from start to finish. Not only is it great value, but its a great overall set up with everyone staying on site, a talented chef, and the team going above and beyond to ensure that the planning and wedding day(s) were really enjoyable for everyone. We had a truly memorable weekend and I would highly recommend to anyone considering choosing Mount William as their wedding destination.

A truly unique experience! If you're someone who likes more than just a usual stay, instead somewhere you can fully immerse yourself in the venue and location, then this is a must try! We were married at this venue in early 2024 and just enjoyed a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Once again our time was amazing! New chef was also exceptional!
