Last minute stop over. Very neat clean cabin. Very good shower and bed. Great view across little lake. Will be back to try out fire pits and stay in cute vans in winter. Paul

We love coming here. Situated on the outskirts of Stawell it's very convenient for exploring the Grampians or for a quick getaway to SA.

There are only 6 cottages so it is nice and quiet. You can hear trains in the distance but they are not intrusive.

Cottages aren't new but they are very comfortable and clean and the bed is comfortable. Kitchen has a proper stove and microwave and all the accoutrements you need. There is also a communal BBQ and swimming pool.

For us it's a winner and we'll keep coming back. Thank you Mandy.

This property has 6 x 2 bedroom cottages all with different bedding configurations. They are compact, clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower recess is small but has great water pressure and nice hot water. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The view from each cottage is very peaceful, sometimes overlooking kangaroos and wallaby's in the bush next door. There is a laundry but we did not use it, the same with the outdoor pool. There is no restaurant on site but there is a big fridge in the kitchen and you can cook either in the oven, microwave or on the bbq. The property is about 5 minutes from the town centre. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed overnight on trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. Comfortable, clean cabin with everything we needed. Great bush setting but only minutes to town centre. Great facilities including pool, laundry and games. Lovely having the kangaroo's around and the noise of the birds on the roof in the morning was very amusing.

A perfect spot for a night or a week. Beautiful customer service. Very clean and comfortable cottages with everything you need. The bed was like sleeping in a cloud. The kids loved the kangaroos and being able to run around and play. Excellent value for money. Being away from the highway meant it was very quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to go back again.

Stawell Holiday Cottages is a great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The cottages have everything you need and are immaculate. Only a few minutes from the centre of town, with a sparkling pool and bbq facilities. Highly recommend it and the kangaroos that visit at dawn and dusk are a treat. Mandy the host is terrific to deal with, very friendly and helpful and does not intrude.

Upon arrival at Stawell holiday cottages we received and upgrade to a better room the furnishings were excellent quality modern and very comfortable the amenities are very good with a solar heated pool as well, lots of local wildlife the friendly kind. It is a great location with most attractions less the 30 minutes away. The staff are super helpful and always available

Stayed two nights with my mother and daughter, although the cabin was 2 rooms each had a queen/double bed. Not sure if other cabins have different bedding combos (no 6). Full oven and cooktop, full fridge. The cabin was compact and clean. Would stay again. Just out of town in bush, very quiet.
