We honestly only went there for a vet follow-up appointment with one of our horses. The vet travels out from Ballarat to our area, but doesn't come as far north as our property. We had to find a suitable place to meet up and the racecourse was chosen by the vet. We didn't really look around and have never been there before, so can't really say much about it. It looked tidy and nobody harassed us about why we were there, despite several people including maintenance staff, passing us. We didn't use the front gate and carpark, we parked in a pleasant treed area after driving through the second gates, so that the horse float wasn't sitting in the sun while we waited. I was grateful to be able to use the site and not have to drive all the way to Ballarat for our follow-ups.

Thought it would be a fun outing to go out and bet on the horses. I put $500 on No. 7. The horses name was Insane Maniac and the steed was trained by the great Phillip Jabberwock. I have many a memory with the bloke but ever since he got on the wizard powder, I had to create distance between us. Anyways I won the race and won $7,000 fair and square but the bloke at the window wouldn’t let me cash out.

First time back in the brixs for a meal for a long time and it didn't disappoint, the meal was well priced and a great meal the Brixs has a great selection of meals, so if you want good service and a good meal give it a try

Really cool racecourse. Especially since RG Custom Built Sheds and Stables came in to install 10 new stables, they look great!
