I loved this hotel. Rooms were large, comfortable and self contained.
Good value.
Very handy location only one block from Southern Cross Station, with a tram stop 100m away.
Lots of good eateries within a couple of minutes walk.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Good hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in the lane next door.
Will definitely stay here again!

Location is excellent. Just a short walk from the Skybus drop-off that we caught from the airport. Then it is close enough to walk to not only the centre of the city but also Southbank. There was a supermarket and a bottle shop less than 100 metres away. A nice Sports bar less than 50 metres away. But it was a peaceful and quiet area where you could easily walk around at night feeling safe.
It is very new so great facilities and neat and clean rooms. As our room was on the 40th floor corner of the building we had a great view out our windows where we could see 270-degree views. Both sunrise and sunset.
Staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. When we asked for new towels and toiletries, and they provided them straight away.

The hotel is in the perfect location, just a short walk from Southern Cross train station, Chemist Warehouse, Woolworths Metro supermarket, and the free tram network. The staff were super friendly and allowed us to store our bags behind reception for safekeeping prior to check-in, and even put them in our room once it was ready. ||The room had all the cooking appliances and amenities we needed, with the appliance manuals accessible via a QR code. Note you will need to buy your own cooking oil to use. Be aware that the kitchen design is flawed, with the overhead cabinets protruding out the same distance as the below cabinets. Several times we accidently hit our heads on the overhead cabinets when using the kitchen. This could be fixed by using lower profile overhead cabinets or installing some kind of contrast trim on the overhead cabinets to make you aware. The washing machine and dryer were useful and included a small amount of detergent.||We elected for the 1 bedroom luxury suite with 2x single beds configuration and found that while the pillows were good, the mattresses were slightly too firm for my liking. The pool/spa/sauna facilities were fantastic and well-maintained. A quick look at the gym showed it was well-equipped too. We stayed on the 29th floor and noticed that the elevators travel super fast- be prepared for this if you are easily motion-sick. The room was spacious, and I loved the opening windows! Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will be back next time!

Upgraded room choice to the high floors. The lifts (elevators) were fast and timely. The suite was spotlessly clean and highly functional. Front desk service was top notch. The price was about halfof something comparable in Sidney. Would definitely recommend.

I was confused about what to rate this hotel, which is unusual for me. Firstly, customer service at the front desk was great. Very nice people wanting to make a good difference to customer experience. It was also in a good location and the rooms were pretty modern. ||We were in a studio apartment, which was only short of a 1 bedroom as the segregated bedroom did not have a door. But it was great to have an area to sit in away from the bedroom. However, we were in a room with a window internally facing which I absolutely hated. The windows were also frosted, meaning that there was no natural light. I really do love natural light and did not expect this.||The other thing that I hesitated to mention is that housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am on check out day to find out when we were checking out (we planned on checking out at check out time - 10am). I hesitated to mention this as I did mention it at check out and the front desk staff stated that this should not have happened and that they would talk to the relevant people, I only mention it as I hope that housekeeping management were notified and that if it happens to anyone else, please mention it at the front desk. We had a big work event the night before and had just got up (but not even turned lights on yet). I get she was eager to get in there and clean, but we still had 1 hour to tidy up, shower and get out.

Down right sweet, my first time staying at the Melbourne Mertion and I was not disappointed truly wonderful staff going above and beyond. Was also my first time staying in one of the accessible units and my word it was perfect. I felt so safe and secure. Was staying on the 30th over looking the city with magic views. Heaps of space in the unit and giant friendly bed. Amazing location in the heart of the CBD. Can not wait to return highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the 3rd Meriton I’ve stayed in. They’re all pretty much the same decor wise (grey). The front desk staff were lovely.

We had a corner suite on the 33rd floor and looking out the window there was never a dull moment.

I never did get to grips with the convection oven but the induction cooktop was fantastic.

The shower was great - instant hot water!

It’s about a 5 minute walk from Southern Cross Station, so ideal in that respect. As it is within the CBD we found most coffee shops in that area closed after 3pm and on weekends.

If you like self-catering and extra room, the Meriton is a good choice.

What a fantastic weekend away we had, celebrating my Birthday at the Meriton Suites Melbourne. From the moment we walked through the front door to when we reluctantly left, everything was wonderful. ||The front desk team were so friendly and helpful. The handwritten welcome note was a beautiful and much appreciated personal touch. ||The room was spacious and so clean. The view was spectacular. Its central location was within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do in the city. ||We just loved our stay and would highly recommend the Meriton Suites Melbourne. It surpassed all of our expectations and we look forward to staying again.
